About MoPhotos

Note: MoPhotos DOES NOT work with the new Eye-Fi Mobi Cards! This app is not being actively maintained right now, due to a lack of personal time. I'm keeping it on the market to allow paid owners of the app to reinstall on new devices.

Have you ever taken a photo with your point-and-shoot or a DSLR and thought, "I wish I could get this photo on my phone. I want to put this photo of my dog up on Facebook!" Now you can.

MoPhotos lets you bring photos from your Eye-Fi card directly to your Android phone or tablet, and then immediately take photos to social media or other photo sharing sites and apps. Don’t wait until you get back to your desk!

Supports tethered connections, as well as Eye-Fi's new Direct Mode. Visit our website http://www.mophotosapp.com for more information, and directions on how to get started.

MoPhotos supports viewing and editing IPTC data fields for your photography!

to unbrick a PRO X2 EYE FI CARD, install EyefiX2Utility.exe on PC in the eyefi x2 PC application, look for Wi-Fi name and Activation code in card options. it is the SSID and key you need. The UploadKey needed by MoPhotos is in the configuration file C:Users\AppDataRoamingEye-FiX2Settings.xml the MoPhotos crashes when I was clicking around but the photo transfer works.

The App work quite well with my X2 PRO 16GB and Android N. WORK - Receiving RAW + JPG (Test with Olympus OMD EM5) - File Name same as original - Geo Tagging - OK in both Infrastructure and Direct Mode NOT WORK - can't change receiving folder, the app will close every time i press the option in preference. Bottom line --- Fantastic, worth the price. Because without it my Eye Fi card would be useless.

Getting the card key is a pain.... when I can log into eyefi center anymore, think it's not possible to configure now..?

Tidy app and a great workaround solution for older eye-fi cards that are no longer supported by the official eye-fi center.

It never worked. No matter what I tried. Dont get it !! Waste of money

Works like a charm, used on my shoot today for instant preview. The only negative is not-sharp full screen preview on a tablet.

Through the use of IPTC captions, this app is a dream come true for photojournalists. It has already paid for itself after I was able to quickly transmit breaking news images this past weekend. Developer is incredibly responsive.

No more struggling with the official Eye-Fi software. This app works beautifully and the developer is exceptional. Epic 4+NookColor. Thumbs up!

Great app and developer is terrific to work with. I'm a newspaper photographer and this is now a major tool in sending photos to the paper.

Great app, just what I was looking for. A couple minor bugs but that is to be expected from a brand new app. The developer is very responsive.

Works well, the best 99 cents I've ever spent! A few quirks but gets the job done.

I tried the app - works fine with Eye-Fi But I accidentally set it as default when opening JPG and I cant get it undone (going through Clear Defaults doesnt work because the option is not available). Now my Nexus 7 is messed up that I cant undo this - even uninstall of the app doesnt work! I tried installing other JPG viewers to no avail?..!

Took more than 15 minutes to discover this, so no refund was allowed. Feels like a scam.

Wonderfull standalone solution to get rid of eyefi servers. Setup is easy. The auto ftp and dropbox integration in the pro version is a superb combo for reporters on a deadline. D800 + GALAXY S4.

V70%
by V####:

The program is great. The only weakness is that if you are setup to sync with both andorid and your pc, the pics that have synced with your phone will no longer sync with your pc. I wish there was an option to sync all photos with both device. My pc serves as the primary backup/storage, but I often use my android device on the road on demand.

This app does not do anything the EyeFi app won't do. I wasted my money.

Compared to the official EyeFi app, this one is somewhat more complicated to install and configure. Also, the GUI is more clunky than the official app. One nice feature that MoPhotos has compared to the official app is quick and easy geotagging. The GPS location of your phone when you upload the photos is encoded into each photo (optionally). As far as I can tell, GPS geotagging is the only reason to use this app instead of the official (and free) EyeFi app.

Don't waste your money. The app doesnt work and never recieved a single response from the creaters.

The new updated version of Eye-Fi centre will automatically 'tick' Relay Mode when making some choices in other tabs, so be sure to visit the "Relay Mode TAB 'last' when making any changes in Eye-Fi Center software. Un-tick it, because as stated, it will not transfer when enabled. I would give this a 5 star if the option to do an 'in app' crop of an image before sharing it directly from this application. The resize option is awesome, and it does maintain aspect ratio. If you have an Eye-Fi card, get this app, seriously! Cannon Rebel T1i 8GB Eye-Fi Pro x2 card. Snap, and about 8 to 10 seconds later, my phone has the image, ready for sharing on FB, or whatever 'share' apps you have on your droid.

Works great on samsung tablet. Setup direct mode in 10 minutes. I could not get direct mode to function using eyefi apps and the messing around with changing the card when you want to go back to main computer.

R70%
by R####:

MoPhoto is a relief. Instead of having to use the Eye-Fi Android app, which turns the card into a Wi-Fi hotspot host by an awkward configuration which must be performed in your PC, , this app allows to card to remain configured as the Wi-fi remote and to use your phone/tablet as the Wi-Fi hotspot (if it has that capacity). Much simpler and logic, me thinks... Thank you x 100! Humberto

Works great on my ASUS Transformer running ICS. I like to download travel photos every night and add IPTC keyword and location data. Easily done with this program. This in combination with the Eye-Fi software running on my PC makes downloading photos a treat at home or on the road. Pro version well worth the money for batch operations. Hope to see ability to back photos up through wi-fi in future

Yup, running on HP Touchpad. Ok so I had to load Android (CyanogenMod7, dual boots to!). Anyway, when you do you get access to great apps like MoPhotos. Works a treat and transfers pics in a couple of seconds. So if you have a HP Touchpad, do it, load Android and get access to some great apps. Many thanks to developer who was very helpful. Gary

This program is far superior to the Eye Fi program. Had a few problems setting it up (my fault, not MoPhotos) and the developer replied to my email very promptly. Recommend this program 100% Keep up the great work. I will be purchasing the Pro version shortly. Thanks. Woody

Works smoothly. Simple but enough functionality. Thank you :-) (Request) Can you add an option to change the order of thumbnail images (newest is first) ?

R70%

This app has given me new tools. I can shoot and immediately send my photos directly to my Viewsonic Android Gtablet. Eye-Fi should be paying this developer, as this will help sell their cards. App Brewer is top notch when it comes to support and answering questions, it was worth every penny!!! Can't wait to see what else App Brewer comes out with, or new features to Mo Photos. Two thumbs up!!

Works as advertised, responsive developer. Nothing bad to say about the product.

W70%

Not only does this app do what it says, the developer has been extraordinary! He is accessible and responsive in a way that I have rarely seen. My request for a feature (IPTC tagging) was replied to in a few hours, and within a week he already had started on incorporating the feature. Try to get that level of responsiveness from other app devs. I would have paid 10x for something that is this good.

R70%
by R####:

Must have app if you use Eye-Fi cards and have a android device, the only app to rival Shuttersnitch (iOS only) and actually for a new photographer, the IPTC functionality is even better. Now I (& my colleagues) just need multi-card support and an auto-upload option & it'll be perfect.
