aCarputer GPS OBD for Android
Having used the app for a little over a day now, it's very nice, layout is excellent, but there are bugs. My biggest gripe is that no matter what is entered for transmission losses, the app will not store the new values and keeps 15% which is not great for cars which are AWD and have higher losses than FWD or RWD cars. There have been absolutely no updates for this app from the developer, which make this app junk since the issues will never be fixed!
Fantastic work great the best looking out there thank you developer!

Since aLapRecorder HD has no functions to synchronise with external camera, I hoped the data stored from this application could be equally applicable and less space consuming. My expectations failed. First, aCarputer can only work with internal GPS receiver. Well, if you drive cabrio it may not matter at all, otherwise... Second, You cannot initialise connection to BT OBD at any moment as it was in aLapRecorder HD - you only can chose it from the list of already coupled devices. And aCarputer forgets the choice every time. 3rd - there are no options for data export - all you can is to replay it on the same device. That really sucks. So, taking together, the only use I can imagine is a spare portable dashboard for curious passenger in cabrio or on bike.

I thought id give this app a try and its a great app. Its exactly what we are looking for. Works with carO pro remember sync one OBD with carO obd turned off but recording. Running these two apps is a techies dream come true. The carputer app awsome.

I wish the developer had stuck with this app, it's one of the cleaner dashes, but needs to be updated :(
