About Foodie

Application discontinued:
Google requires me to add privacy policy or change implementation so it does not need it.
I do not agree with such a developer-bulying approach and I'm not going to taky any action. For that (no) reason application will propably be removed by Google as of March 15, 2017.
I'm as sorry as you are.
Remember, there are still free alternative markets.

Description
Foodie is a handy application that serves as a food ingredient identifier. Simply scan the bar code of a product to determine its composition. The app shows various information, such as an overall rating, description of additives, animal products, and if it is suitable for consumption by children. The rating is based on a number scale between 0 – 6, where 0 is a completely natural product and 6 is a product you should avoid.
If the product is not found in the off-line database, users may add it as a new product and send it to be published for all the app users. Please note that the database is collected from user suggestions only – feel free to add as many items as you wish.
Enjoy food. Enjoy Foodie.

Doesn't understand the barcodes I tried. Riddled with spelling mistakes, the "dowload some database" doesn't work.
