The Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Application is a channel of communication that is created to serve citizens of the Gulf area and others who are interested in following up news of this organization.

In 1981, the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, State of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and State of Kuwait agreed on a cooperative framework that created the Cooperation Council for the Arab State of Gulf (GCC) and agreed that its Secretariat General Headquarter would to be located in Riyadh.
