The author of this program stole 25 original recordings of my own hands made songs. Thank god they're copyrighted fro a holes like you Markus. Don't trust this guy with personal things

I switched to the S8 and lost everything! Important recordings :( Some things didn't even record the other side of the conversation, only mine. But very important conversations that I've lost.

Have used this app reliably for quite a while now. It just works.

I m using this App from year 2011. Its Superb!

I used to could hear the other party of the conversation now just only hear myself We don't care for all the extras the main priority of this app was to record conversations

been looking for app that is like a tape recorder that I can see and not turn off, while recording. sadly to say when I changed phone to a s7 ,I lost all recordings.

Please change the menu text back black. Grey text on white background is very difficult to read. Traditionaly, very is reserved for ppaceholder menu items that are not active in the current context. This recorders quality is horrible, if you're looking to make Youtube videos with it, you're out of luck. Get a different one, this audio recorder is just a waste of space.

QUESTION...I have an older version on another device that gives me the option "Force Screen On". I can't find the setting for it in the update. Or do I need to go into my device's settings for that?

Favorite feature is editing song names, deleting, sending, all while listening to a recording. Multi task BABY

Great EXCEPT the position of DELETE ALL completely wiped my saved recordings!!! This DELETE ALL option overlays the menu (3 dot ellipses button, top right) so when you press it, have a slight delay, then press it again you accidentally select DELETE ALL. When you're busy, you don't read things properly, so the 'note this will permanently delete' pop up box with the crazily positioned 'cancel' and 'ok' messages also ENCOURAGE ERROR. 'OK' is on the right. Nooo, this is wrong! Aaargh!! When there's a critical action like this, you place the LESS risky response on the LIKELY area the user will select. i.e. behaviour is usually to click the right side. Usability and interaction design principles! Apart from that the app is easy to use, and saves it immediately, in .wav format, has easy pause / start buttons.

Edit is not visual so hard to tell what I'm doing. Cut is part to be removed or kept? Add visual so we can see th audio or sound file. Go look at others if u need to see what ur doin.

I had used this fine for years but last week it failed to record a long meeting. After 3 hours of recording, it was showing just ~50 minutes. And the worst is it did it on a new meeting this week. I thought last week it was just a fluke. And yesterday it recorded another long meeting just fine. I dont get it.

Well Marcus, about a year later and it hasn't changed. There are no settings to increase the volume and it is so quiet I can't hear the playback with my volume on high. Your last reply said it has a lot of settings. Where are you hiding them?

You will lose files. I had many important voice notes saved to this app. Last week they were saved, this week they are gone and no voice files of any type are on my phone. I've done nothing to this phone or any action that would make them be deleted.

I have been using this app as long as I can remember going fr 1 phone 2 next. I can't tell u how many times this app has let TRUTH prevail 2 a party swearing I never said this or U said that.All disclosed 2 the party it was being recorded love that copies can B sent 2 storage N case phone goes missing accidentally on propose. I may b mistaken but at 1 time this had feature 2 auto send each recording 2 email?Would love 2 have that. Easier than getting caught try N 2 send in case something happens 2 phone.

It is not saving my recordings. I press record and when i hit the stop button after i finish recording, it only records 4 seconds. It does this regularly lately and it also deletes recordings. Please fix.

Fix the buzzing noise when you first connect to a call, fix the buzz noise when it's not on speaker phone, fix the buzzing noise when it sometimes does it even when it's on speakerphone and last but not least fix the volume issue. The volume will go so low you can't hear anything, then it will go back to normal, then it will do it again be where you can't hear anything. So my suggestion to make this the best app for what's its designed to do is fix the buzzing on everything I mentioned, and fix the volume from going low to normal, then back to low and so forth. Will give 5 stars if you can fix these major issues. I'm hoping you listen to your supporters and customers. I was even going to buy the full version, until I seen what problems the free one has. Fix these will rate 5 stars, and will buy full version please. Hope you actually read your reviews and take our suggestions seriously because it's basically somewhat unusable at the moment, until you fix it of course. Then it will be perfect. Thank you.

great app, but on Android 6 on Nexus 5, cannot transfer newly recorded files from the recordings directory over USB to a PC. Can do it via adb, or can use file explorer to cut/paste it to downloads directory and then copy it, but the recordings no longer show up in the tape-a-talk directory over USB to a PC running windows or linux the way they used to. Please fix, thanks!

I have been using tape a talk for years. Its been great! Thanks Markus! Reading some of these one star reviews causes me to lose a little faith in humanity though. :/

Just installed app. better rating will come as I get to use the app. Can playback be done with use of the speaker on the phone verses with just the ear piece? I would like to play the speaker and make notes.

It has like HD clarity recording which makes it easy for me to record professor and discussion. so far I have recorded 120 mins of lecture, and I think it can go more! If you are student who is looking for app with clear voice recording for lectures and discussions in class, this is for you!! Heck, its for anyone who wants a good handy recorder in the phone!

Great features, excellent quality, no issues, great support. Stellar. I love that you can append recordings. That is really important for me. I also love that you can select the directory, including an external SD card. The support is prompt, and there are lots of incredible features. A really outstanding app. I am very impressed.

Sometimes you need a simple app to record your voice and get a file out. This app does that job. Sometimes it's good when things are simple!

Crashes immediately when trying to select parent folder.

I use this all the time for bird recordings, lectures, family stories--all around, a great app. Never had any problems with it
