About Remote for MythTV
"Remote for MythTV" is a remote to control a MythTV DVR system (0.25, 0.26 or 0.27 version) from your home. To use this app, it should be a MythTV server installed in your home, 0.25 to 0.27 version. If you do not have MythTV installed in your home, then this app will not work.

* IMPORTANT *
To control a mythfrontend from the remote control of mythfrontend, it is necessary that the network remote control interface is enabled (communication port on 6546), which is not by default.
To enable network remote control interface: go to the mythfrontend -> select "Setup" -> "General" -> and on "Remote Control" page, check "Enable Network Remote Control Interface".

Didn't work for me. I'm running LinHES 8.3 with MythTV version .27(fixes).

Mythtv front-end app works fine on my galaxy s5. This doesn't. Sanity checked my router and yes, the ports are open. Yes I enabled the remote on the front-end side and confirmed port 6546. Mythmote works.
