This application is for monitoring the Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper 2.0 systems via the RKM-NET module.
This app requires the 2.0 firmware to be loaded on your Digital Aquatics system and modules.
With this app you can monitor all the channels logged by the NET module and even view graphs where available. The graphs do take up to a minute to download and build so be patient. It takes about the same amount of time to view the graphs on the NET module itself.

Note:
Controlling channels from your mobile device can be risky. If you turn off a channel then lose connectivity either due to your phone or your home internet you will not be able to turn the channel back on until you are reconnected. For this reason I only recommend controlling lights, skimmers and non-mandatory pumps. I do NOT recommend trying to control your main circulation or sump pumps or auto top off from the device. If you lose connection you may not be able to return these to their normal state.

This is sad, I have been a user of RK systems since the first version. But the poor customer service and lack of smartphone app has caused me to consider my RKE system a waste and look to swapping to Apex. This app has been non-functional no matter what the tweak is. It will boot up, ask for system information, and then sit at a screen with a pic of the net module indefinitely!

When turning a channel on or off any associated alarms on that channel are then lost. I learned this the hardway with a dosing channel that had a ph alarm.

Very hard to set up with network. Not user friendly. Still has a lot of bugs. Not very functional. Easier to just log into net module webserver interface page to see status.

For the app you already need to have the net module. So If you have a net module, a Smart phone with a browser you can just log into that and get the same info. Setup was quite the pain as well. Its a good start but has a way to go in my opinion. What do you want for free though?

Giving it 4 stars cause it won't read my net modules website I gave it. It will read the ip address for the net, but that works only when I'm home. Other than that I can access the net module from the site where ever I am. App DOES WORK!
