This app is fantastic and so easy to use. Others have mentioned having a database of ingredients or the ability to scan an item and have the nutritional information automatically added, and I would agree that those would be nice. However, I would like to see a place to list the serving size (ex. 6 ounces or 1 cup.) Otherwise, this app is perfect for throw together meals. Awesome job!

can't figure it out... how do I add ingredients?

I like this app its handy, however it could be so much better. There are no instructions for use and I had to muddle around it. The cell to name your recipe or ingredience does not have enough character spaces. Also the cell to input recipe instructions is too small, probably because this is a mobile app not so much a tablet app which is what I'm using it on. I guess its format is simple, but I wonder if its design could be a bit better. Other than those points, its a nice little app.

I consider myself pretty bright, but I could not figure this app out. I was able to enter my ingredients and that was it. I couldn't find anyway to enter instructions or get a recipe total. Maybe there's a glitch in the app.

Would be great if it would scan Barcodes for ingredients. Too time consuming and is confusing as there are no instructions. Will be deleting.

This app does work! All the complaints below are because people could not figure out how to use the app. There are no instructions so you have to figure it out on your own. Would be better if it had a general food database available and a Barcode scanner.

Too difficult to use.

The low review is deserved. I can enter the ingredients of a food but it will not allow me to go further. It will not calculate, or give me more options.

The pictures show that you can add ingredients but when you get into the program, there is no way to put ingredients in. So looking forward to using this program, so disappointing! Estella

You have to input ALL the data manually. Very monotonous, not easy to use. Deleting off my phone.

Was super easy with a little common sense. I entered my ingredients and number of servings I used, along with nutrition info for each, as I cooked. It saved each one in the recipe, then when I was done I decided how many servings my total dish would serve and it broke it down per serving. Would love to see a barcode scan option so it could populate,the nutrition info fields for me, but other than that, its a wonderful, helpful app :)

It is super easy to use and great for recipes that I make on a regular rotating basis and even those that I make up from scratch without the help of a cookbook (and hints on nutritional data for the dish). The app is very basic. It lists the recipe out, and ingredients. All the calories are listed out and you need to add them up for your total. You also need a separate app if you're keeping track of eaten calories; however that doesn't bother me. I recommend this if you don't mind simple
