Best Calculator

My calcultor needs are broad, a few computing needs, a bit of stats, some business functions & critically, a user friendly general purpose calculator - big buttons, easily read, history, x & y being the way you expect them to be, etc. This does it all. Importantly, it does some things very nicely - dual screens for instance. I've not seen another calculator that equals or betters it. This could be a case study of excellence in product design. "You still appreciate the quality long after the price is forgotten".

1.Already rated it as one of the best app ever.However had to delete it just to give a feed back. 2.Double pressing x twice convert it to a square symbol rather than * symbol. 3. Please tell us how can I forward review if any without deleting my old comments. 4.Why my own feedback is not reflected in general feedback of others but separately..It can be added additionally to general feedback too. 5. This is a great calculator. Now I have been using it for a couple of years and it is still the best. Every time I end up using a different calculator I see again how great this calculator is. The rest of my previous review is below. There are more options than you can imagine. You can use parentheses or you can use a linear form of operation management. It saves your history and you can go back into your history to use the result of a previous calculation. The user interface is very clear and the digits and keys are large it is a joy to use.

Bought this many years ago and am glad to see it still being updated. The interface is deceitfully simple but packed with many great features. Very cleverly done.

I use this app very heavily everyday. I love how simple and easy it is to use. I don't like the fact the parentheses has moved to the 2nd screen. Is there a way to move it back to first screen?

Probably the best calculator for Android. Working with brackets allows longer equations but is still easy to enter and understand. Highly recommend!

Update: Three or four years later, this is still my favorite calculator (in fact, I uninstalled the others because I never used them), and well worth whatever the Pro version cost. The devs keep it updated, and it just works. At first I felt silly spending money for a calculator app when there are so many free ones, but this is just very good. It is powerful, versatile, and the interface is intuitive, with well thought out, sensible defaults. It has become my "go-to" calculator app whenever I need to calculate something and don't feel like opening a spreadsheet. I guess I actually use it 10 or 15 times a day, much to my surprise.

A clean uncluttered attractive well-crafted interface. I use this as my everyday basic calculator. Scary math functions are available if one is into that kind of thing -- they are on another page, discretely waiting to be called for duty. I gladly paid for the PRO version years ago. The developer or some successor of his has been making improvements. Many developers quit after few years. I have this on my half-dead Nexus 4 and BlackBerry Passport [Thanks, Cobalt, for your divine labours!].

What I especially like is the simple yet flexible interface. You are able to change the priority in which calculations are evaluated. It does just about anything anybody would want from a non-financial calculator. It's easy to learn, and I have never EVER found it to have any problems.

i already purchased this calculator, this is my favorite, i use this for all calculation, for the long time i use this, too many repeated computation, i would like to suggest that you add a programmable calc (same of "equreka") that we can make our own formula & save it for later use. if you add it i purchase again.. thanks..

UPD. Thanks for getting old icon back! Original review: What was wrong with old icon? After latest update the icon disappeared from my home screen and I was so frustrated not being able to find it so I had to open play store. Please bring the well recognised and loved icon back.

I use this very frequently. Upgraded to pro version to support developer. Great, straightforward app. Edit: Responsive devs too - complained about new icon, now the old one is back! Well done for listening.

Been using this as my preferred calculator for years, we'll done devs, does exactly what I want it to do. Why do people complain about icon changes? Get a life, it's just an icon.

It is the only calculator that works like I want it to but it doesn't match Google's new Material Design which has taken over the rest of my phone.
