MOBILE DATA: Make sure you have a mobile data plan from your network provider. Your Oncall subscription account does not include the cost of mobile data.
The Oncall Live Video System enables emergency services personnel to stream live video and audio from their Oncall WiFi enabled camera by tethering the camera to a smartphone that has the Oncall app installed. The video is streamed to viewers in real-time via the Oncall Server, using the smartphone’s 3G or 4G connection. You can also stream video from the smartphone’s own camera.
Oncall is optimized for live streaming over mobile networks and delivers the most reliable, low latency, high quality streaming possible, while keeping the cost of data low.
Oncall can send the broadcaster’s GPS location in real-time so viewers can know the position of the broadcaster from the web or their Oncall Mobile app.
Your department’s cameras connect to your own private organization account on the Oncall Server. This allows dispatch, management or Incident Command to securely access the live video streams and location of personnel. Multiple viewers can connect in real-time from PC, iPhone / iPad, and Android devices. The live streams can be recorded by the Oncall server for post event analysis and training.
Oncall Fire and Police WiFi cameras record HD 1080p video and audio onto their internal SD card giving you the high quality version of the video you need for evidence.
Oncall is 100% hosted in the USA. We ensure your data remains in the United States and is managed to the highest security standards.
