WhereDat - Enterprise Search for Android
Paid for the premium beta but the features are not unlocked. Also using the app widget shows a light gray screen with white keyboard, makes it almost impossible to see the keyboard
It would be nice that the search and the quick tweet to can work with other apps than Google and Official Twitter. And to search all contacts. And in create a shortcut to can assign a command to a shortcut provided by other apps (like Twicca Twitter lists or Evernote notebooks, etc) not only to an app or url. This clocks with recent activities and names are pointless and annoying. Sometimes, very rare, it's blocked and cannot write to call apps. But mostly great.
Definitely a lil slower thsn I'd want, but it seems to be really excellent. It's extremely responsive which is a plus. I've seen issues w/ conflicting apps however, and that could be its downfall ultimately. We'll see how it goes. Definitely worth 4 stars.
The app is simple and beautiful, it does what its supposed to do in a way which is better than expected, there is only one problem though on the widget that little dog on the side is ok, too small to notice but when you open the app through widget or icon that big dog above the keyboard is really excessive..
really good job. I have all time the right information! but why whan i open the recent app this app is showed twice or more time?( every time i opened an app)
The search bar would be much better if it's on top of the screen rather than the bottom, Since the keyboard is on bottom of screen!!! Please have an option to make search bar on top
Very good!!working as i expected!! in future please make it to get root access to access that root files too
Thanks for the great app. I don't like sorting and searching for apps in adroid, so with this easy quick search my note is now usable again.
BTW LOVE THE APP 50/10 IGN
Good app for replace google search, and for iDevive used to user
IPhone da gibi kullanılamasa da daha güzel özellikleri de var oldukça başarılı
Although still some work to be done with integration and adding more apps I this is the best app in its category. Keep doing great job.
Crashes on every search!
Reminded of Launchy, but this was much more efficient and faster. As of the Feb 2016 update, the appeal is lost. Slow. After the "fix" it crashes as soon as a key is pressed in the search tab, part of the original functionality was moved to a separate app. Uninstalling within a day

Crashes in start
The application was good until recently it crashes every time I open it.
But overall, this needs to be featured on the Google play start page. Everyone should have it.
You're not using your phone properly if you don't.
What?
One of the three only apps I bother to update! I love it - it simply makes using you're phone much easier. It is like a jet fighter cockpit: everything is within the reach of an "arm length".

I ran into to same issue as everyone else in that I wanted a single home press to take me to my normal home screen and a double press to launch mrquery. Good news is I got it to work by using another app called "home2 shortcut" which lets you reassign the double press function to any app, in this case mrquery.
I'm not using my home screen anymore...
Themer, Folder Organizer and Swypepad. I hate it, but I love it. There should be far more people downloading this beauty. And with every update it gets better. Well done, dev, well done. Tnx
I like keystroke based launchers on my laptop, but I didn't think it would work with my phone. I am really surprised how mrQuery changes the way I interact with my phone. I never go to my home screen now. I'm always in an app. I can see how this wouldn't be that great for those who use a lot of homescreen widgets. I wish it was a little quicker.responding, that's the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.
I like the app, but I'm having one problem. With Mr. Query running I tap the Home button, and instead of taking me to the home screen it launches the dialer and calls my Home number, listed as Home in my contact. I tried many times re-installing and setting the 2nd launcher in the Settings, and it still does this. I think this may be a regression in v30. It worked properly when I first installed the app a few days ago, and then it updated to v30 recently and 2nd Home function started behaving like this. Edit: Works perfectly after the fix. I love the app; very fast and easy to use. And what can you say when you report a problem before going to bed and wake up to find it fixed?
great app, speeds things up, does what it says! I've got a suggestion though, make it an option to use the app switch button instead. some ppl like me use it less than the home button.
Works great on my HTC one X
I have lots of great apps on my phone but what sets this one apart is how much time it saves me. Instead of hitting the home button, then hitting the app drawer button, then flipping through my apps to find an app I just hit the home button and Mr. Query launches with the keyboard ready to find any of my apps. A couple of letters usually gets me the app I need. The developer of the app responded very quickly to a question I had (you can submit a question from within the app, so smart). Can't beat a great app with an attentive developer. I would have paid $5 for this app.
I use this to replace the google now action (using "Home Button Launcher"). Perfect thing to launch apps quickly
Finally. and Wow.
The principal is interesting but why should the application take control of my home button. There at least must be an option to use another key press to launch this application. Uninstalling.
This is a great, very functional app. I would love it if you would add the ability to change which key brings up the search, as the home key solution is troublesome on my phone. Maybe add this function to a paid version of this app?
I really wish that instead of pressing the home button, I could double-tap/long press and it would bring it up. When I press my home key, I want to go to my home screen, not necessarily bring up mrQuery. Letting me set either long press, or double tap would make this one app that would get use constantly (as the pressing home button 2x does not get me to my home screen, which is Nova Launcher). Until then, I'll just uninstall and keep an eye on it for any update that allows this as a feature (even paid, which I would gladly give $1-2 for!).
Makes simple tasks faster , if it can index my widgets it would be awesome , for example i have a color note widget withe notes that would be nice if i could find the text inside.
Great tool!
Fast, works on top of any launcher now
Can take a second or two to start keyboard. Mine is not showing history bar, may be my old phone.
