PotroMóvil

PotroMóvil es una aplicación que forma parte de una plataforma de seguridad preventiva impulsada por la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, y que tiene como objetivo brindar a los alumnos que participan en el programa de movilidad universitaria internacional una herramienta tecnológica a través de la cual tengan a la mano información oportuna de los lugares que visitan, así como la posibilidad de registrar su equipaje antes de documentarlo en la ventanilla de la aerolínea, con datos como su peso, marca, características y fotos de las mismas, así como de compartir su ubicación y poder emitir una alerta a sus contactos previamente registrados, en el caso de que perciba una inseguridad mayor dentro de algún aeropuerto.


Se pretende que actué como un sistema preventivo y disuasivo para mejorar las condiciones de seguridad de viaje de la comunidad universitaria que participa en el programa de movilidad universitaria internacional, a través de diversas medidas que permitan brindar información pertinente para disminuir los riesgos del trayecto y la estancia.

El sistema esta integrado por un sitio web y una aplicación móvil(app), que permitirá gestionar la información de los universitarios participantes en el programa, la cual contiene datos del itinerario de vuelo, póliza de seguro, lugar de la estancia y datos relevantes del equipaje, así como información adicional sobre las diferentes embajadas de los distintos países que visitan.

En cuanto a su equipaje, la aplicación permitirá la toma de fotografías que serán almacenadas en el sistema, además durante el proceso de documentación se podrá notificar la salida (check out) y la entrada (check in) dentro de los aeropuertos por los que transitan. The system is composed of a website and a mobile application (app), which will manage the information of university participants in the program, which contains data from the flight itinerary, insurance, place of stay and the relevant data luggage and additional information about the various embassies of the countries they visit.
