Moo.do - Organize your way

Amazing productivity tool! Moo.do integrates Gmail and Google calendar and Drive, Evernote and even OneNote (which no other task app does) and task management and calendars and will create active contact links and organize it all in a flexible Kanban structure. I've followed this app since it started and the devs are clearly devoted to it cause it's really matured on both the web, Windows and Android! It's a bit of an unsung hero in the productivity world (especially with IQTell gone) but I highly recommend trying it. It has a learning curve so take your time and you'll enjoy it. By the way, the screenshots are outdated. It looks much better now.

Moo.do as a service is excellent. The android app has a few critical issues though that keep me from recommending it. The app seems to handle autocorrect poorly, particularly when backspacing, which I have to do frequently since the app seems to eat character inputs regularly. Occasionally, formatting doesn't update properly and I have to reopen the app to correct. And the agenda view, while incredibly useful is somewhat broken, I have accidentally collapsed days in the agenda with no apparent way to expand them, and if you open up the side drawer, you can still select headers to zoom into even though they are invisible.

I really really want this to work but it's so buggy on android! :( please fix the bugs so I can use it.

This is a powerful approach to task management and despite the following issues, I highly recommend this application. 1. Email does not show properly and it often clips the right side of the message with no option to scroll horizontally. So it cannot be used for email reliably. There are some clunky solutions like the only way to un-complete a task you have accidentally completed, which is way too easy to do, you must choose an obscure drop down menu and choose multi-select to get access to the needed functions. I'm sure this app is easier to use on bigger screens.

App is way too laggy when typing.. completely unusable

Awesome in concept, but flawed in implementation Pros: - The only app I've found that uses API integration for Gmail rather than requiring me to forward my emails (I'm not going to send potentially sensitive information to your services). The *right* way to do email integration. - The nested lists, contacts integration and calendar are really well done. - Markdown formatting just landed and is great. - Filtering by tags, priorities, due/scheduled dates, and task completion is intuitive and easy. - Being able to drag and drop emails into my lists is a killer feature. The application would be ideal for a GTD setup, but for its major issues. - The android app takes to long to boot up to be viable as a tool to capture thoughts as they pop up (part of GTD) - The web app and MacOS app frequently became unresponsive to keystrokes, and the panes would often fall out of alignment (a visual bug, panes would be overlapping with space between them). - The different boards don't seem to do a very good job of remembering their state. For my use case, the poor performance unfortunately outweighs the benefits. If my three pain points were addressed, I would love to give Moo.do another look.

[THANK-YOUS] (1) Unicode / emoji hashtags support Like #???? instead of #home . (2) the notification work flawlessly. I haven't experienced a single drop lately. [HOPES] (1) an undo button for Android users. Months of work lost after an accidental erase. (2) the Unicode character emoji support is really buggy. It kind of works on my phone but not in the web app

Tried Wunderlist, Todoist, Any.do, Keep, Evernote, etc. All too constrained an interface to truly free my mind with tasks and notes in one place. Started using workflowy but that was missing recurring tasks and due dates. This has not only that but Gmail and drive integration. So far so good. Working on transferring all info to Moo.do. Premium version looks to be in my future.

Any plans for other major email providers like Microsoft in the future?

Moo.do is currently my most loved task and organising app. I love the flexibility and appreciate the many powerful features. The app has matured a lot and is now reliable and feature rich. I just wish for a mind map view and Evernote integration. The mobile app would profit from some polishing.

Web API is great. Android app is not so great.

Please, make native app 90 mb too much

Great way to organise

I'm an app freak. Moo.do has grown on me. It's elegant, simple, and flexible. I'm still figuring out my work flow with it. But I'm a premium user and will continue to be.

I personally think that Moo.do is one of the best productivity services out there. It is simple but powerful. But you can use it if you happen to be only around laptop all the time and never use a phone, because the app is close to useless. I will not list all the bugs, but It takes long time to sync (and does not do it in the background) and fails to update changes made offline (I have lost multiple important lines, when it connected to internet only the first letter was left and I couldn't see what I had written)

Great promise, but is it too much to ask that my content not be deleted after I log out of the web app? I signed up for a month, but this will be a deal breaker unless I'm either shown that I'm doing something wrong, or the issue is fixed.

Couldn't figure it out. Had know idea what was going on or what i was creating. Couldn't find features it said it had, email, kanban,... Interface sucks, non intuitive.

I've used the web app for about a month and a half, and it's become a crucial part of my daily organizational tasks. The Android app is a little better than it was when I joined, but still too slow to be reliable.

The Android app is sub par to the web app and feels like a cheap web wrapper. Is it usable? - Yes Is it good to have? - Yes I just wish it will be implemented better with a more user friendly UI in the future.

I like moo.do, I even have subscribed to the premium service. I have yet to find the android app in a usable state in the last ~6+ months. I hope that changes, but I need to find something that works now.

I love using the Google tasks feature, but I can't afford to pay for the full version of this app so it syncs everything I have

This is a great app. I use it at work, in school, and at home. Since I started using moo.do I don't forget anything.

Awesome application for organizing everything. Just the right mix of freedom and useful features (offline client, integration with calendar). The mobile app UI could use some work (tap edge to complete and edit item are so close that you often times trigger the one you don't want), but that is a minor thing.

Crashes on login with KitKat. Update 2016-07-13 Reinstall didn't work, but manually clearing data allowed me to login. All appears to be working now. Go figure.

Can't open this at all unfortunately. Love the web app but android doesn't work

Tried Moo.Doo again recently, as I thought it had a lot of potential before but I couldn't use it because of syncing issues with Android. All I can say now is, wow! I make changes on my computer and I go to my phone and I can immediately see the changes in real time! Workflowy is still better when it comes to the speed of brainstorming and writing, but that's really the only difference. So glad the sync is working properly now, and I am looking forward to the gmail integration. Well done folks!

The desktop version is amazing and so very useful, but the Android version could use a lot of speeding up. It loads quite slow. An option to go with a more native experience would be cool as well but my problem is more on the speed.

The web app is intriguing, but this app is a pig on my LG Volt. The two missing stars would be for: - A mobile-optimized experience. The desktop version feels a lot tighter, and yes, the Droid app feels similar...but that makes it difficult to access things like item expansion/collapsing, and checking off. Don't be afraid to have design differences so you can do what's best for the platform. - Performance. As I said earlier, this app is a PIG on my little economy LG Volt. I can't even keep my keyboard open for very long while using the app -- it's frustrating. Why does it need to be so performance-heavy?

3 stars, only because it has a lot of potential...the android app needs a little more attention, but I can't wait to see the next couple updates.
