About MultiWindow Shortcuts
This app is only compatible with Samsung devices with multiwindow feature like the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 4, Note Edge, Note 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 10.1, 10.1 2014, 12.2, Galaxy Tab Pro tablets as well as the Galaxy Alpha, S3, S4, S5.
MultiWindow Shortcuts (formerly Paired Window Shortcuts) is an app that allows you to create paired window shortcuts on the homescreen or other third-party launchers or apps that support and can launch shortcut widgets. You can also use third-party gesture apps to launch a paired window.
MultiWindow Shortcuts can be any combination of your current multiwindow-enabled apps and you can create as many as you want. On the Galaxy Note 3 and Note 10.1 2014, you can also create multi window shortcut of the same app provided that app is MULTI-INSTANCE-enabled like the stock Browser.
There are two ways to create a multi window shortcuts: One is by through the app icon on the launcher drawer and second is through a shortcut widget located on the Widget Section of your launcher. Third-Party apps that can launch shortcuts can also use the shortcut widget to create a custom Paired Window.
The number of apps to choose from is dependent on how many apps are multiwindow-enabled on your device. If your device has root, then you can use Multiwindow Apps Manager to add more multiwindow apps. If not rooted, then you can use MW Apps Enabler/MW-Pen App Enabler to add more multiwindow apps.

Doesn't work on on Galaxy S8+, a Samsung phone with multi window. I loved this on my previous phone but upgrading to a new one broke it. New Note 8 will have this feature built in, no app needed. I suggest the author fix it for S8 before it becomes unnecessary.

Works exactly as expected on my S7 Edge. I just really wish it could make shortcuts for a single app as "zone A" and use the current app as "zone B". Or make shortcuts to open an app in the popup view.

The app works perfect but I have a mod which allow me to create four windows instead of four. Can you do an extra function to create four shortcuts windows?

This app works with enough of my multi window apps to be useful to me, but unfortunately does not work with many of the apps I was most excited to have unlocked for multi-window use (thanks to Aeon Time's other wonderful tools!). It was still worth the money, but I can't help but be disappointed about those other shortcuts I was hoping for. I assume it's because the apps I want don't have shortcut widgets enabled. If Aeon Time ever finds a way around the shortcut window requirement I will be extremely psyched.

I got nothing to add. It does what it says it does. I however would like to give the developer an idea. Perhaps make an app that let's us place these special shortcuts on the multi window tray? I use this app to fix the fact that I cannot have two apps with the name on said tray. So perhaps forcing it through an app would be useful.

This app is wonderful. It has allowed me to launch with a single tap a navigator in the top window and Audible for audiobooks in the b ottom. This means that when im driving I don't need to be distracted by switching between multiple apps. The developer is awesome and not only quick to communicate but within minutes- yes minutes had emailed me an updated version when my apps didn't initially appear in the list of apps for pairing.

just what i was looking for. i've just purchased this app as well as Aeon's MW Pen App Enabler. I used the latter to make MediaMonkey a windowed app then used this app from within Car Home Ultra to create a single button that brings up MediaMonkey and Google Maps in multi-window mode. This is definitely one of the apps I'll use to reduce button presses while i'm driving.

Used to love this app. Was invaluable but sadly doesn't work on my Samsung s8+. Hope dev looks in to this as is a great app.
