Screen Off Memo Pro

S Note integration ftw. Very few apps out there prove as utilitarian as this one has for me, but I do have one key annoyance; when the lockscreen is set to swipe, the app closes to the home screen after the pen is reinserted instead of returning the screen to off. This isn't an issue on other lockscreens - just swipe. would be nice to see an update that fixes this at some point. (Lollipop on the Note 4). Otherwise, great work!!! The optional screen service is a thoughtful and appreciated feature.

XDA apps is much better than this apps 2.2, every time, I cleared caches and data, it work fine, no lag when turn display on, it perfect quickly, but later about hour or so, it keep laggggggggg when turn display on in less than 2 to 3 second to wait.. I uninstalled it, and it working fine without this apps.. I stick with XDA old apk 1.3 or 1.4 whatever..

This app works pretty well for my Note 5. However, what I'm REALLY hoping for is the ability to set a reminder for a memo, and have that memo pop up on my screen at that time. Don't know how Samsung missed that. Is that possible?

Download it from XDA but wouldn't work after I installed it. But for some reason it works when I bought it. Not complaining though, more than happy to help the dev. Only complaint I have is that it doesn't work alongside with AcDisplay, I really like that lockscreen, this app seems to take priority over the AcD.

We all know the Dev and how hard working he is. The pro version not only has a bunch of customizations but it immediately syncs with Snote and Evernote as well as their widgets. Pretty awesome dev, wasn't expecting the sync feature! I'm sure that he'll make it faster and smoother when possible :)

This is an okay app. It wasn't working due to other apps I have. I tried to uninstall it, but it doesn't go away. The uninstall button isn't clickable anymore and I'm unable to delete the files. So now it just takes up space.

I primarily bought this app to quickly jot down ideas in low light situations without disturbing anyone with light, noise, or fumbling. For this purpose I would like to see the ability to dim the very bright white text and choose its color. Also I found a bug that turns either side of the background blue if phone is switched to one orientation and then another which is easy to do when removing the pen. Using this app is a major reason I purchased the note 4 so these improvements are much appreciated.

Sometimes the note screen doesn't pop up. When you pull the pen out its pops up. But when you put it back in then pull it out again it doesn't pop back up unless you hit exit or save then turn screen off turn screen back on unlock then turn screen back off and then pullt for it to work on note 2

Since I paid for this app I'm going to be extra picky, every thing works fine for my Galaxy Note 4 but I would honestly wish it would be a smother transition from my lock screen to the app screen when the spen is removed.

Hi, thank you for making such a useful app,, I am a developer myself and I understand how much effort goes into building a quality app. Only thing I wish for is optional 'stay unlocked' after closing the note pad & ability to launch the app at s pen removal while screen is simply off but not locked.... I have my screen lock option to remain unlocked for 30min which is really useful when I need to access the phone frequently in a short period of time.... Thanks

Update 1/14/16. Note 4 Verizon was updated to 5.1.1 and the lag is back. Love your app but lag has made me disable. Lag is about 2 seconds. How can if fix? 11/7. New update fixed lag and now I rate this app 5 stars. Great job developer!

I have issues with the app it is not working right wanted to get refund asap but app won't deactivate so I can uninstall and get a refund! Buyer beware!

I really like this app for taking quick notes without waking up my phone, but on my Galaxy Note Edge it shuts off my night clock. 5 stars once this is fixed.

The notes are saved in a separate folder everytime which really messes it up in tge snote app. Please give the option to save all notes in a aingle folder

I have to physically unlock my phone and access the app for this feature to work on my Note Edge. No matter what I try, it doesn't work on the lock screen at all.

Really like this app and the pen options. Better than stock app. Sometimes have to restart Night Clock on my Note Edge for the clock to show up. Same problem with stock app.

Hi please improve the delay in screen lock and screen off memo when detaching the spen. Ive already enabled the screen service feature but there is still delays. Im using sm910s exynos 5433 note 4.

Works fine most of the time! However at times when the S-pen has not been used for a while...when you pull out the S-pen to trigger the app nothing happens. You have to restart the app and then everything is functioning normally.

To start I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This app did not tell me that I gave itself administrative rights, when I downloaded it. This is an unrooted phone. It caused my lock screen to blur out all the numbers so I couldn't punch in my PIN and it causes ads to come up on my phone. It will not allow me to remove it. This is the epitome of a virus type app. Be warned. Administrator I want money back. I had to go into security and remove their admin privileges then uninstall. Steve C.

It causes there to be a delay when waking the phone from sleep.

Is there something in the app that launches Post Memo app? Everytime I use the screen off memo and press the X to close I find the post memo waiting for me. There is nothing in the Post Memo app settings or system setting that enables any auto launch. App would get 5 starts otherwise :-) I've had this app from v1.3.

Can I please have a refund because this app for some reason does not work on my note 4. I will remove this review once I get a refund. Thank you.

App does not work on Galaxy 12.2 Pro. Felt cheated after paying for it. Any chance of a refund?

It's better than the others but also slow. Creates alot of lockscreen flickers

Works as intended but doesn't work when music is playing.

My wishes for this app: 1. Changing the ink color, both used color and saved color. 2. An option to save notes in Google Keep instead of snote 3. Option to have it only auto launch if screen is off rather than only on lockscreen.

I was using the 1.3 version and loved it but saw this here today and had to buy it. Always like to support developers when I can. This version is great even aside from the lag (improved and less lag in 2.2 vs. 2.1) when pressing the home button to unlock but I can live with that for now with how useful this app is.

After installing app, default spen is not working. If I try to select the air commend menus it will reboot the mobile. I did hard reset, works better. But still has issue. In lock screen after using this app and press save to memo, still I see blank screen. Need to press home button to see the lock screen. As some bug in it.

Saw this app on xda . loved it and now its in playstore . Dev should also develop Scroll Capture too..

Had 1.3 before this and just upgraded to the pro... Works great, really useful, be sure to close the settings menu tho before trying to use it as I found it didn't open with the pen if it was still open, love the new pens etc

I use it on a Note 3, It works some times, but most of the times it doesn't. Tried all settings in the app and in the pen.... same. I like the idea, very useful but need work.

Glitchy. Works sometimes. When you are using your note3 and pull the spen out it locks the phone and shows this app....not really helpful.

Really like this app and the pen options. Wish there were a couple of rough paint brush tips. Option for pen and background color would be nice too. Sometimes have to restart Night Clock on my Note Edge for the clock to show up.

I'm an architect . this is the best i can use when i have to co with my costumers. please give me tools like simple straight and curve line. i need to draw faster floorplan and perspective thanks. love you so much.

No longer works I am uninstalling it very disappointing.

I hope developer can work on something to make the apps consume less power.

Update 11/7. New update fixed lag and now I rate this app 5 stars. Great job developer! My rating is because of the considerable lag to lock screen during normal use(not using s pen) on the Note 4. I will still use it but it's not instant when you click the home or power button anymore even with the screen service disabled. Benefit outweighs the lag but is very annoying. I hope you can fix this issue.
