Speaker Boost for Android
Finally a app that ain't complete bull immediate change in volume actually had to back it off thank you P.s. the extra questions were just weird do you plan buy music or movies with it? Does it have a social aspect? No I just need it to make my music louder! :) Thanks again
As far as I can tell the app works! I really like it it's simple to use and doesn't take up too much time, however there are times where it would boost my sound and times when it won't. It is also a pain when it boosts suddenly while playing a song. Except for those issues the app is good and I can definitely say that it is the best speaker boost in the app store
I'm just going to trust what others are saying and go with ok. It's not doing what i needed as I'm not getting any boost from it at all. Im looking for something that will boost my volume while listening to iheart and other apps. So far its been nothing but dead ends. So uninstalling to gain space back.
Tried several other volume boosters. Only boosted the stock volume control, which meant absolutely nothing. This? I can finally hear my videos! Videos taken by my camera basically has nonexistent sound. This is perfect for people using a metronome where if you play and can't hear the metronome. EXCELLENT app.
The app is great, it just works, I usually don't keep the boost above 25% and I have to reduce the phone's volume, so it is pretty significant given you can boost it to 100%, be careful, this could damage either your ears or your headphones. It could have a bit little improvements, in the UI especially. It is really ugly, and it could be updated easily. It's not something that will bother actually, I mean, you wom't we seeing it 99% of the time, but it could show some dedication from part of the developer. Also, you must open the app and let it running in first plain in order to lock the screen and keeping it's effects. Making an update that improves on multitasking while being locked would be nice. But that's pretty much it, nice little app that is as useful as dangerous, have fun.
Works great! Except loud volume alert will not shut off no matter how many times I deselect and select the shut off option or uninstall and reinstall app. Can anyone help with this. It's really annoying the warning pops up at the most inconvenient times. I have Android 5.1. otherwise a clean 5.
Tried it with headphones, didnt notice a great deal but then im not looking to blow my ears off lol. Took headphones out and got a whats app message haha blimey thought the phone was going to pop! So this app does work just dont go crazy with the controlls lmao
Been playing with all kinds of variations, restarting phone, starting playback app first, then app. Few times got it to work, and it's amazing!!! Makes my motorcycle helmet speakers usable. But can't turn it on on regular basis. Please figure out why. The two times it worked, it was amazing.
For some reason last week the volume on my Sony Xperia xz was noticably quieter than normal. Music via headphones became pointless..couldn't hear much. Ive no idea why.. Then this program solved the problem . Thank you!
Tried this one and a few others. I landed on Volume Booster by Multimedia star and uninstalled this one. Volume Booster doesn't get quiet after a while like this one. This one worked well enough until I found something better. Thank you. Don't take my word or anybody elses, though. Try a few out for yourself and decide which one works best for YOUR device.
Needs an exit button. I know if you drag the boost volume to 0 it is set to off. but would like to see an exit button so that way I don't have to adjust the amount of boost I want each time I start the app. Plus just one tap to shut it off as opposed to pressing and dragging. I am really impressed on how much boost you get. Stupid warning about damaging your ears or equipment that's not a knock against the developer but for the idiots who would actually sue the developer if they did not put that warning
Great app! Takes up less than half a megabyte, no ads, straight to the point a "volume booster". It works on galaxy s7 edge, also works via Bluetooth to your stereo or Bluetooth speaker. Do be careful, it could potentially damage said audio device, use it with caution.
This is really doing it's job. Is actually fixing the sound bug Sony delivered Nougat with. Although Sony has claimed that they fix it, it is only a slightly improvement, not really fixed. I have two Xperias one upgraded with the last fix and the other not upgraded and the difference is easily perceptible.
Works great , does boost volume , totally love this app , great job.it works best if left on system not moving it to SD card. I have tried other so called booster apps but all are garbage and this one really work ,you can hear the difference.great app A++++++
I almost gave 5 stars, but I found out a frustrating flaw: it goes off on its own after screen off and one has to power it on every time you want to use it. I wish one can leave it on permanently until one chooses to turn it off. Please fix this. You deserve five stars.
This app sucks. I used to use it until I found something else. It will blow your speaker out because it almost blew mine out. Search equalizer fix and download it. It's free it boosts your speakers without trying to blow them out. It even works on ear buds and Bluetooth speakers.
After days of searching around I finally found this genius app which is ad free and very light on the device but most importantly it REALLY WORKS!!. Easy to navigate and increase or reduce boost. You can technically boost by a 100% but I usually keep it on 20% and can still hear podcasts in the other room. I mainly use it listen to dialogue/debate / commentary on YouTube and wouldn't recommend this for music as it distorts on higher boost levels which is something that is bound to happen with any other software pre amp.
It is not compatible with all the music players. I have five of the best payed music players in Google Play on my S7 Edge. I enjoy listening to the different sounds and effects of each one depending on my mood. Works great with Maven and JetAudio. But it doesn't work with Black Player, Google Player and, unfortunately, Power Amp. I checked the settings but I didn't find any toggles to enable them. Also needs a gain meter to know where your distortion level is . Should have an off/on short cut, too.
I just went through the purchase and the refund of two apps as well as the downloading and the uninstalling of several free apps in hopes to maximize my phone's volume, while researching for it in Play Store for over 30 minutes. All the other apps did nothing to my volume. In some, I literally could not detect any difference, and in others, either the features did everything except boost the volume or running the app in the background was an unavailable feature. This one actually works and is The Best.
To my surprise after trying various boost apps, the app works with soundcloud. Unfortunately using Play music or Spotify causes the boost to deactivate, a reboot the only way reactivate it. Still a very useful app. Edit: after some use, this is a genuine must have for my high impedance headphones, but opening certain apps causes the boost to deactivate until a reboot. Any word for a fix for this / the issues mentioned above? I'll definitely donate if these issues are fixed!
Works a treat! Capable of going way louder than reasonable. The settings set this apart from similar apps. For 99% of my needs, 10% boost is all I need. I can set the maximum boost to 10%, and then adjust the slider with superb resolution between 0-10. My only gripe: There's no "off" button. Once it's on, it's on. This works great on the road, but when I get home I just need to turn it "off". The only way to do this is to kill the process. Please add an on/off toggle.
I have a phone and when i got it a long time ago, it already have came with Cinema Dolby andbi loved that phone just because of that app Cinema Dolby . I now have a different phone and i tried so many times to activate the Dolby on it but i just don't know how. This app!! This app is just it, nice work you guys. This app sounds just like the Dolby. Loud af..sorry for the language. Love it! Im happy now that nomore low music, now i can just put my phone in my front right small pucket and i can listen to it.
This app is excellent for me. I have a significant high-frequency hearing loss and this app allows me to hear my Bluetooth speakers in my motorcycle helmet at exactly the right level. In particular it works very well with podcasts and audio book readers which are typically lower volume output. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I will be making a small contribution to these app makers. This is not a paid endorsement.
So many positive reviews from happy customers gave me hope so I downloaded and installed the app
It pushed my tiny extension speakers to the max! May I suggest sending only 15% to the pre amp, and let the final drive be variable to say 30% ? That should render it bulletproof ! Otherwise good . Earn your fifth star !
Am an electronics technician & didn't think it would work, but it actually does on my GS4 KK. Works with mp3's using Jet Audio, but none of my other players. Verified it is not a trick & does go above 100% device volume. No ads is great & setting boost to zero does free up memory. Well done!!
It's a great, useful app but one should use it with care and caution. I was almost about to blow my brand new 10 hour used phone's speaker as i increased the volume to 100... According to me, 10 is enough even if you're using phones like J7 and others
No other app about volume boosting works. Besides all the other apps have ads.. This one works and doesnt have ads.. Whats better. But I realized that you cant boost a signal without creating noise. That implies to fotography too. If you're wondering what I meant by that Google" iso dslr ".
My sister bought me an 18" MEDIA tablet from QVC and it's not very media friendly. I can finally hear now without having to wear ear phones which don't fit in my small ear holes, Yea! Will upgrade to Pro now that I know it works.
Look no further if you are unhappy with your current volume level of your phone/tablet. Most of so-called "booster" apps always contain malware or really annoying ads. This has no ads and require no special permissions, just boosts your volume. It works perfectly. Thanks to the developer. I will donate a small amount of money since everyone should support developers with dignity. 5/5
I got a AstroTab A10 tablet. I love it with one exception. The volume. At maximum volume, it sounds like the volume of my LG V10 at one notch above silent. It atrocious. This app is the only app that didn't have ads, but it makes this tablet's speakers sound normal. I can clearly hear videos. No distortion. I really thought I was gonna have to buy a Bluetooth speaker, but not anymore. Thank you to whoever developed this truly amazing app. It saved me.
This is first the booster app that actually works. It awsome do not turn it up all the way! If you do you will blow speakers! Great job developers! Need to integrate booster with graphic equalizer to help eliminate high volume distortions.
Don't trust any other app that promises to boost you volume. I have an Huawei P8 and some movies are very soft. I've tried all of the apps above this and it's all just adware. This works perfectly with a simple design. Don't know why it isn't rated higher.
After several installs and uninstalls, I can get it to work but only for a few minutes. Then Priv locks the volume and I can't boost the volume without several uninstalls and installs of the app again. Any solutions? Update: It seems like it won't work with Google play music app but boosts volume with notifications and other phone sounds. Works perfectly with Black Player!
I've got a 60% hearing loss bossted up 20% with my aids, it was frustrating trying to listen to YouTube videos on my android. So, thank you for making this. I had to go up to 30% but I can hear it now. (ฅ'ω'ฅ)♪
My my my, I recently purchased Nyne bass Bluetooth speaker, but my LG Android did not have enough volume, well you know what, bless the Lord; guys you have certainly invented a unique app! This app does the job awesome awesome: just find out why it makes the scratchy static sound when boosting at levels 38% 40% by the way the speaker is big! When I turn up the volume I don't hear it only when it is turned down: maybe because the Bluetooth is big, I hear the app processing, but Awesome!
I don't recall how many other speaker booster apps I have tried, I just know that it was a lot and none of them worked at all except this one. I didn't need this app for boosting music volume, but for boosting the audio in movies that I watch from my phone. This app is perfect for that! It seems that this may be the only app around specifically for that purpose because I have tried most of them. With all of that being said....this speaker boosting app works the best!
Chrome for me with headphones. Or it could be an isolated Android related bug anyone ever experienced this. I've got touch sounds like volume button presses coming out of headphones and internal speaker now simultaneously at the home screen.

Couldn't get this to work with marshmallow 6.1, but by chance found if you download volume+ free from store. Set up both with volumes at max and start volume+ first every time and tap on agree, then open sound boost you can boost your devices volume. The key is always opening volume+ first and tapping on agree then open speaker boost. If you close speaker boost and open it before opening volume+ and tapping agree then sound drops back to normal. still gets a five star rating along with volume+ free.
