This is an awesome app only let down by the fact it only has a simple line for the terminator. Had there been an option to choose between phase or the simple line this app would have got 5 stars. I just hope an update will be able to fix this as there would be no single better moon app to have.

You can't zoom in like the other Moon Map App. Also all maps are much to brite to see any detail. Uninstalling :-(

Just what I was looking for, replaces my big foldout map plus I can flip it to any orientation. Motorola triumph.

Everyap you could want and many more. The detail is superb and labelling is clear. It appears that everything is held on a web site and this app accesses it so at times it is a bit slow to respond. Search facilities are good but not completely comprehensive: I wanted to find the Apollo landing sites but Apollo in the search only finds the feature named after Apollo missions on the far side. To sum up: a great worth the 63p I paid.

By far the best android moon app I've seen for use with a telescope. May replace my Rukl atlas. Suggestions: add the ability to show terminator at dates and times in the future...add librations for terminator accuracy...incorporate USGS Geologic Map of the Moon.

An excellent app. One I use a lot

Excellent adaptation of lunar mapping to the Android phones. Running on Rezound and very responsive. Lots of options to make it very useful. Good app.

Very nice maps!

Excellent Moon map which makes it much easier to look up lunar features that I see through my telescope. A joy to use on my tablet right at the eyepiece!

Even after a reboot, app is quite slow. Tried turning off all labels and lines, still very sluggish to respond to drags and zooming.

I loved the lite version, so I purchased the HD version too. No doubt it is amazing! But the main reason for which I purchased the HD version was that I wanted to see the terminator in real time, which comes across as a bland thin outline over the moon in this app...it was a disappointment. I had expected that the terminator would actually divide the moon into night and day halves.. Request the developers to show the exact phase of the moon in real time, that would be amazing!!

Knocks the spots off any lunar atlas I've ever used. With the LRO map installed you can zoom in on any feature and get a higher resolution image than you are likely to find in any lunar guide book.

Many high resolution charts available for download. Nice software for lunar observers.

This is great, but in using it I found one thing not working right, and that is the distance scale slide values are off by an order of magnitude. Copernicus is depicted as only about 10km across, rather than the actual 100km. Otherwise a good app.

As an amateur astronomer, I find Lunar HD a great adjunct with my observing sessions. Much better than a paper map. Finding a particular lunar feature with the search feature is a snap. Will enjoy looking at the moon much more now. Indispensable.

This is very educational so moms out there you cant go wrong with this wonderful app . Has many settings & tells you what your viewing . Thousands of your questions answered . l strongly recomened this for everyone , take a journey around the lunar & explore . This also has many different color shades for bringing out details you wouldnt other wise see . Download . You will be amazied . Do you want to know what features you are looking at on the moon? This app has the answer. There are high resolution maps of both sides of the moon as well as geological survey maps, apollo era maps, and many more. All maps have the ability to simply touch an object of interest and get all the information you need about it. A must have app for anyone who is interested in Earth's nearest neighbour.

I downloaded a few of the Lunar Maps and they zoom great in the app. The detail and labeling of features is also great. I bought the HD version a few mins after trying the Lite version. Highly recommended.

Cool realistic

Started off working fine, looked great, then downloaded few extra maps but then became laggy to the point of being useless and kept crashing also so I'm disappointed.

Great app but I'd like a feature to manually rotate the moon and perhaps something that would tell me when the straight wall and lunar x and v are best to view

Hopefully the skies clear and I'm able to test this out. Looks promising. Thanks dev!

This is the best lunar map. I have an 8 in. dob telescope, and what I see through it, is exactly what this app shows, incredible! Crater for crater, basin for basin, wow! This app actually help me find Bailly, I have spent months looking for it, never could. This app did for me. Astronomy freaks, here it is! Thank you dev. Samsung g3

This app is excellent. It contains very detailed maps from the 70s USGS maps and NASA lunar charts to the latest LRO maps. Love it.
