CINEMA TEATRO ITALIA SALA 1

Il Cinema-Teatro Italia è il più grande della regione Puglia. Costruito nel 1976 è situato sul Corso Roma, la più importante passeggiata della città di Gallipoli, occupa una superficie di circa 4.000 metri quadri e ha a disposizione per i clienti una terazza con parcheggio privato, sono inoltre disponibili 2.000 posti auto nella vicina area portuale.

La hall ha dimensioni ragguardevoli, è lunga 80m e larga 8, gli spettatori possono passeggiare aspettando l’inizio del film e ammirando i prodotti commerciali esposti nelle 50 vetrine noleggiate dalle ditte interessate. Nella hall è inoltre presente un servizio bar.

La superficie del palcoscenico è di 300 metri quadri con un boccascena di 20m . Lo schermo normalmente usato ha dimensioni 18 x 7 ed è distante 12m dalla prima fila di poltrone, assicurando così una visione confortevole anche gli spettatori dei primi posti.

Per i film molto spettacolari viene utilizzato uno schermo da 20 x 10 m che viene calato a filo del boccascena: in questo caso, per consentire comunque una buona visione, non si utilizzano alcune file anteriori. Disposti su due piani 40 camerini dotati di ogni servizio possono ospitare 100 attori. Esiste inoltre una fossa orchestrale (a scomparsa), che può contenere 100 musicisti. Originariamente la sala, lunga 50m e larga 36, era divisa in un settore platea e un settore galleria; attualmente è stata ristrutturata con la tipica geometria dell’anfiteatro a gradoni ciò consente una buona visuale per qualsiasi ordine di posti anche grazie al fatto che la gradinata inizia a svilupparsi già dalle prime file con un’altezza dei gradoni di 34cm. Le file attrezzate con ampie poltrone “Figueras”, sono poste ad una distanza di 1,2m, assicurando così un elevato grado di comfort per gli spettatori.

Gli ambienti sono climatizzati con impianti autonomi.

Un gruppo elettrogeno da 120 kw assicura l’alimentazione elettrica di tutto il complesso rendendolo così completamente autonomo rispetto alla rete Enel.

Dopo il recente restauro il Teatro dispone di altre due sale di proiezione , progettate per consentire alla struttura programmazioni differenziata che comprendono oltre alla normale produzione internazionale, anche rassegne di cineforum e film di particolare interesse socio-culturale.

Le sale, arredate con cura è dotate di ogni comfort, sono rispettivamente da 100 posti (sala 2) e 150 (sala 3); possono essere riservate anche con prenotazione telefonica. L’eccellente impianto audio installato negli ambienti perfettamente insonorizzati rende magici questi spazi tanto da essere soprannominati i due “Salotti del Teatro Italia”. Originally the hall, 50m long and 36 wide, was divided in an industry sector stalls and a gallery, and currently has been restored with the typical geometry of the amphitheater with steps that allows a good view for any type of places thanks to the fact that the staircase begins to develop from the very first steps of the file with a height of 34cm. The file equipped with large armchairs "Figueras", are placed at a distance of 1.2 m, thus ensuring a high degree of comfort for the spectators.

The rooms are air-conditioned with autonomous systems.

A generator 120 kw ensures the power supply to the entire complex making it completely independent of the Enel network.

ITALIAN CINEMA THEATRE ROOM 2 - 3 ROOM

After the recent renovation, the theater has two other screening rooms, designed to allow the structure differentiated programs which include in addition to the normal production internationally, including exhibitions of film clubs and film of particular social and cultural interest.

The rooms, furnished with care is equipped with every comfort, are respectively 100 seats (room 2) and 150 (room 3), can also be booked with telephone booking. The excellent sound system installed in the rooms perfectly soundproofed magic makes these spaces so as to be nicknamed the two "lounges Italian theater."
