The Dawn Widget won't update or location change from San Francisco but when u enter the app it's location works but not on the widget

Changed my default town automatically to another nearby suburb and I can't delete it. Doesn't have update icon on widget without opening app and when I want to update it I have to wait. Can't swipe through saved cities on widget either. Pain in my butt!
