Ad Detector

One scan found the 2 sources of annoying spam on my tablet. I couldn't believe it was my ereaders! I didn't delete the notifications so the second I uninstalled the apps, I saw them disappear from the notification bar. That was proof enough that it worked. :)

The app scans about half way and stops. Then provides no information, like which app stopped it and just says "Unfortunately, Ad Detector has stopped". Well, I've had this app about 6 months and it is no longer unfortunate that this app has stopped working but not working is just the way it normally works.

Read the descript! The app alerts you of PUSHED ADS. Those being apps that send messages to your notification bar / tray without your knowledge or approval. It doesn't scan your apps looking for those that simply have ads. Most apps do! Read before you bash. Now my review: Worked great. Didn't crash on my ZTE ZMax. Scanned 203 apps. All clean. Then I commented and uninstalled. Thanks Devs. B+ or 4****

It didn't get half way and it stopped working. I have adds that pop up in my videos that I took with my camera that are in my gallery. I'm guessing the ad's are coded so they won't allow this app to work properly

This app is junk, it keeps crashing during the scan. My 2nd time downloading it and it did the same thing the 1st time. So I'm getting rid of it and never trying one of your apps again.

Knowing I have illegal ads that bypass Google's rules I was hoping your app would find them and delete them. But it didn't. All it found was my launcher. TouchPal keyboard bypasses Google's Rules by putting a small pop it that stays on my homepage until I touch it then it opens up to full page ads and the only way to get it off of my screen is 2 touch their little button that opens the full page ad. The button pops back up on my screen shortly after I've closed it by going to the full page ad. It's quite annoying and persistent. I wish you could report TouchPal keyboard and TouchPal keyboard 2017 to make them stop this illegal practice.

I was looking all over the play store trying to find an ad scanner and I thought it wouldn't work but it did I have no ads on my phone now this app is a lifesaver!!!

Gets to 257 on scan, then crashes. Total waste of time. Sent crash report. No reply from developer. wtf

Useless app. It crashes after scanning 118 items. Couldn't complete a single scan

Except for the first time, this app crashed every time I tried to use it.

Why do you put crap like this . It waste our time data and money.

I have tried numerous times to get it to work but needs crashing. Uninstalling...will find one that works!

This app is unemployed, lol. Seriously though, it doesn't work it just stops as it gets near the end of the scan #garbage

Useless if it can't work

I didn't even get through my first scan. App crashed once item 125 was scanned. Tried several times and still crashed at item 125.

After running the application's scan, I received a message that if no notifications came up, it was "probably be" due to ads they were not yet aware of. -_- just a thought.

Doing first scan, 50% progress then BOOM...."Unfortunately, Ad Detector has stopped working". What a crap app.

An uber ad opens everytime I open my browser so I DL'd this and then opened, hit scan and once it gets to 270, it says 'App Unexpectedly Stopped', I tried 5 more times and happened everytime, so I uninstalled

This app crashed within seconds every time I tried to do a scan.

Every time I try to scan apps it gets to 255 scanned, and shows app crashed. Never worked. Uninstalled.

App crash after u start scan at 304 scan every time. Don't waste your time with this app

I reinstalled just so I could give you a 1 star. Wish I could rate it lower. If you say I have no apps creating ads, you are either hiding your own bullshit in your app, or you just flat out suck at your job. Complete and utter piece of junk

This app is nonsense I have 30 apps on my phone that have virus like adware and it says only one app that has never been the problem is adware now I truly know this app is useless back to the drawing board guys

Just like many other users, my scan failed around 75% mark. Google should remove from store until fixed.

Before it starts scanning!! It says unfortunately the app stop responding... Thats ridiculous.... Y would someone make such a dumb app... Disappointed

Good job at ferreting out bad ads and will also greatly reduce those accursed game ads that have become an internet plague.

1st scan, it got to 245 and said it crashed. 2 options to "report" or "ok", i clicked "report" to let Dev know but got insta-roboot happened all by it self after.. Figuring to give benifit of the doubt, I ran scan after it came back up and same crash at same count. This time I clicked "ok" and it just bombed on the scan and allowed me to continue on using phone. Uninstalling. :(

It wouldn't let me add the apps that I wanted to have the ad blocker on so it sucks thanks for nothing

I installed it, hit the run button, hit the scan button, and then it stops with the message that "unfortunately ad detector has stopped". Four times, and the same point . uninstall. Disappointing.

Force closes every time I try to scan

Doesn't work with Lollipop on Note 3. Not updated since January, 2013.

Wow, it doesn't even complete the scan before saying "Ad Detector has stopped working." And closes me out. This app is stupid.

So I tried this and it was crap and you never blocked the pop ups,and I could not use the website, what's the Point??? Taking this waste of space off my new tablet,oh by the way a lot of people have tablets,so when we see so many Saying Designed for Phones, Kinda think you are missing out.
