Dynamic Pads: SwipePad add-on

Love this app. But the "recent tasks" doesn't work anymore! Due to Lollipop?! Please fix :) 1-18-17 Recent tasks only show swipe pad and my launcher. Galaxy Note 4, Marshmallow 6.0.3? Whatever the latest is for Android as of this date. Nova Launcher. Please fix! Is it even fixable? Are you guys still in operation? "Recent tasks" for swipe pad is a great idea. I'd pay for it! :)

Hi guys, maybe I'm doing something wrong but the only I can see in the recent pad is launcher and the swipe app itself. Can you give me a hint? Galaxy S6, 6.0.1., Nova Launcher

Tried twice to contact dev and they simply ignore messages. Does not populate recent apps pad on Android 5.1. Also relies on having a photo for all contacts, otherwise recent contacts pad is useless. All in all a crap add on and crappy customer service.

Like others are saying, the recent apps function only shows the home screen app, and nothing else. Wasted $1.25 on this. I understand this is a limitation of Android 6, but this should have been made more apparent in the purchasing process.

today I'm update my android from 4.4.4 to 6.0.1 and recent task not work properly . it's just shown empty or sometime just show only touchwiz

However please add a feature for being able to close running apps.

I'm using lollipop 5.1 on my one plus one, before I update from KitKat 4.4.4 to Lollipop 5.1, everything works just right, however after I update OS to a higher version, the recent apps function stop working. Could you please add this feature as son as possible?

This is what I'm looking for, but it reorganize the apps, which slowed down multitasking. Suggestion to developer: Place the most recent to the bottom right, or give us the option to choose where the most recent app appear.

Probably not the developer's fault - I've seen other task switchers with the same problem, but it the fact should at least be acknowledged in the description.

Recent tasks doesn't work on my Galaxy S5. Hope it gets an update, cause I used to love it. I still use it on older devices and works fine, just not the S5.

Workaround for ROOTED MM/LP users!!: What Jiří Sedláček suggested didn't really work, but converting SwipePad itself (the main app) to a system app did work! And you don't have to convert this addon (Dynamic Pads) at all. To convert it, you could either use an app like "/system/app mover" or use the terminal or Root Explorer to do it manually. If you take the manual route, don't forget to "chmod +644 /system/priv-app/SwipePad.apk" afterwards and then reboot.

But now that I have upgraded to lollipop, the recent apps pad only shows portal to home and nothing else. Please fix ASAP

But it would be awesome to be able to to do some sort of split pad. Let's say bottom row for recent and other rows for the apps I decide. Do that and it's a 5 star! Thanks

Used to work fine on my nexus one and g2. (referring to dynamic pads only, swipepad works fine)

After updating to lollipop, apps don't appear on my recently used list. Only the home screen appears in the recent tasks. Is this a bug or what? Do fix this as it ruins the purpose of paying for this add on and the entire experience of using swipe pad.

I love swipepad, but as other reviews have mentioned recent apps does not work at all. I used to use just this app for multitasking, now stuck with the nasty laggy touchwiz multitasking button. Have the devs completely stopped supporting this app? Can't find any responses for a paid feature, if it's impossible on 5.* I'd like to know

Was useful for the recent tasks option alone but now that's standard with most phones and it didn't work anymore anyway

I recently updated my tablet from Kitkat to Marshmallow and realize that "Dynamic Pads: SwipePad add-on" doesn't work as Context Panel. From other reviews in Play Store I get feedback that this problem started a long time ago in Lollipop. Context is shown not for active app, but for active Launcher. I overcome this problem yourself easily because I have rooted device, I moved "SwipePad Dynamic Pads" app from user apps to system apps. Now it works again as it should. Probably some app's permission restriction in LP/MM...

work very good on Android 4.4.2 but on 5.0 is useless. no matter the number of apps who are open, the pad show only the launcher (Nova Prime) and the app itself

I've never switched apps faster than with this app (used to rate this 5 stars), but now in Lollipop it only lists your homescreen apps instead of listing all recent apps. Please fix!

Love this app when it worked on kit kat. Does not work on lollipop. Advised not to download until fixed. Hope they are working on it. Will update rating when fixed.

This app WAS kind of amazing, now it doesn't work since I updated my Galaxy S4 to Android 5.0. Hopefully there is an update planned soon?

Frequently contacted or recent contacted is not displaying correctly. I called a person and that is not listing in recent contacts. I'm using galaxy note2 with jelly bean.

Opened youtube about three times but it didn't show up in the recent items pad. Please fix.

Love how simple yet efficient it is.

...as the standard swipepad. For example, one would expect sliding onto a recent contact to then dial them when you release your finger, instead it opens up all available options for that contact, email, sms, whatsapp etc. That is useful in one sense but then it's not really much different from just bringing up that contact using the phone's dial pad. Disappointed!

For months now, this has done nothing but great things. I love this app because of the style and animation to switch between apps. :-)

What's important about swipepad is that you do things very quickly. Having a pad that constantly reorders itself requires you to think 1 or 2 more seconds before making your decision. This significantly lowers the return on investment. Especially now that ics also has the same feature built in, I would prefer swipepad to launch the stock task switcher instead.

Does exactly what I wanted it to. This has really streamlined my phone.

I love the concept behind this app, and the "recently used" pad works beautifully, as do the other add-ons. However, as many others have noted, the "recently contacted" and "frequently contacted" pads simply do not work. On my phone, they pull up several people whom I last contacted years ago or whom I have never contacted at all. Frustratingly, there is also no option to create your own custom contact pad. I dearly hope the developers are fixing this issue because it would be so convenient for these pads to work. In the meantime, however, know that if you are buying this add-on to manage your contacts, it will simply not work.

Most important add-on. Quickly switch between apps, or enter the force kill dialog with it. A must have add-on. Android is crippled without SwipePad.

I would love the ability to take off the featured apps section of this app away. All I want is the ability to either go to market page or application info.
