Full featured Podcast Manager (podcatcher) and RSS feed reader

* DISCOVER thousands of free audio and video shows from all over the world.
* PLAY your content everywhere - either online or offline.
* CUSTOMIZE your playlist to match your listening preferences.

This is a "Lite" version with 7 day full feature trial!

* Sophisticated podcast download engine gives you complete control of how many podcasts to download and how long to keep the old versions. Downloads new content in the background, so you spend more time enjoying your feeds, and less time waiting on them.

* BeyondPod provides full control over what is being downloaded over your data connection. Update a single feed, feeds in a given category, or all feeds. Download a single podcast, the latest podcasts, or all podcasts for a given feed. Nothing happens without your knowledge. Podcast downloads can be scheduled to occur at a specific time, only when connected to WiFi, or only when the phone is charging. BeyondPod also offers an option to automatically (1) Turn WiFi on, (2) Update your feeds, (3) Turn WiFi back off.

* BeyondPod's integrated podcast player support variable playback speed and tracks what podcasts you have listened to. There is also a configurable TiVo style "commercial skip" that lets you easily skip over content that you are not interested in.

* BeyondPod's Smart Playlist automatically generates playlists based on your listening preferences. (For example: First play the 2 newest podcasts of feed A, Then play the oldest podcast of Feed B. etc.). If you follow multiple podcasts Smart Playlist is an excellent way to always listen to what you want.

* BeyondPod's Home Screen Widget gives you one-button access to your podcasts, SmartPlay, and SmartPlay updates directly from your phone's Home screen.

* Integration with Feedly allows you to easily import your Feedly subscriptions. BeyondPod will also synchronize the "Read" and "Starred" status of individual posts so you can read the same feed on both PC or Phone.

* Assign feeds to various categories (such as News, Sports, or Technology) for convenient filtering by topic.

* Use BeyondPod to discover new podcasts and RSS feeds. Search for feeds, import feeds from a variety of popular directories, Feedly, or from external OPML files.

* Import any local files (music, audio books, voice notes etc) and make them playable in BeyondPod audio/video player as if they were podcasts.

* BeyondPod supports Chromecast - cast your audio or video episodes to connected Chromecast devices directly from BeyondPod.

* Use the Sleep feature to automatically turn the podcast playback off after predetermined period of time.

* BeyondPod supports both wired and Bluetooth headsets.

it's shaped like track skip when it's actually a rewind 10sec. almost deleted the ap because I didn't think it had that feature.

ITS FREAKING BORING!!

C70%

I don't know about most other people but I find that the menus are a little confusing to use. Too many options with no real layout. Everything works fine but I wouldn't mind having some kind of sidebar to organize everything.

And loving the tablet version. The UI is not the prettiest any maybe confusing at first. And it takes some digging in the menus to set up properly. It's more complicated to use than other podcast players but once you know how to use it, it works better than anything else available. It can't be beat. The people complaining obviously haven't figured out how to use it yet. It's worked flawless for me for over 4 years on several different devices. I have about 300 feeds organized in catagories. Can play videos in external players, with the screen off, bluetooth stream, etc. I've bought 2 other podcast players that look prettier but do not have as much functionality. For video podcasts I use an external feature rich player such as mxplayer or viral player that can float in the background.

Great application. Well worth the support for full version. This is my RSS reader, podcast manager, and news aggregator. It never fails to impress me. Customer service is prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful. All my stars are belong to this app!

Hey, when I purchased this app several years ago it was add free. Now it is full of annoying google popups - only in this app!

I can reassign the download folder to a sd card using the hidden menu. There are a lot more powerful settings in the hidden menu. I recommend that you use the hidden menu to unleash the power of this software.

The app actually cost $7, not free, will not cast to Chromecast without bought key, you have it for one month maybe... They should tell that you in the first line in description.

ITS FREAKING BORING!!

设计很好,基本上包含了一直在听的podcast,但时常会遇到播放没有声音的情况,特别是在连接蓝牙耳机的情况下。不知道是什么问题,希望后续可以完善。

You've got the feature set. Please now focus on simplifying the ui. It's become way too cluttered and has way too much small print and truncation. Imagine you are building a version for the visually impaired. That might get you in the frame of mind to address what people are complaining about so much. I'm a paid user of many years, by the way. The feature set is what has kept me around in spite of increased frustration with how the functions I use most go deeper and deeper in the complex ui.

I love this podcast catcher and player. It's easy to use and easy to setup the way you want it to work. I use it both on the phone and my tablet.

Been my most used app for many yrs,,i agree the phone version is better even on my Tab S,,,does what its spose to never crashed once

K70%
by K####:

Am deleting this ap, it fails to play the entire podcast on a regular basis plus it just has a user unfriendly interface.

K70%
by K####:

I've used this app daily for over 2 years with no issues at all. This has been one of my most reliable apps. I used the trial for over a year, but decided to pay for the upgrade just because of how well Beyond pod worked for me. I've tried others on both Apple and Android, none performed as well as this one has. Yes, I recommend this app highly.

K70%

Works great but not a service I would pay for.

K70%
by K####:

Not working on my Samsung s8.2. Won't start.

E70%

Works fine no issues, the RSS feed on Google have stopped you will need a Google reader. Mixcloud you need a rss generator. All in all great app well done BeyondPod

Excellent product. Don't want to lose it. But time and ideas move on, going to Beta.

W70%
by W####:

The tablet UI compliments the content and makes full use of the display. Other than that BeyondPod is the known and loved podcast manager we love. I don't get it though why the phone and tablet versions are two different apps. Who knows?

Q70%
by Q####:

Worse than phone version, imho

Q70%
by Q####:

Favorite podcast app.

Q70%
by Q####:

Another dishonest description.

M70%
by M####:

After i downloaded this app and tried to access the podcast, it failed because of insufficient storage. However, I'm certain that I have avaliable both device and SD storage. Fix it. I bought the unlocked key alerady.

L70%
by L####:

Have to reduce to 3 star because other podcast apps like Podcast Republic alow multiple updates with free version unlike beyond podcast.

W70%
by W####:

If you can find a way around iTunes support that would be great

X70%
by X####:

I have used this app for years. This last update is terrible. I was way happy with the last version but now I am looking for something else

C70%
by C####:

But I wish they'd update the tablet version with material design. Going back and forth between phone and tablet is driving me crazy right now.

L70%
by L####:

It requires more than a basic understanding of how each type of feed works (for example, how can an audio podcast be 'Read'?). Interface is a little intimidating and not intuitive at first.

X70%
by X####:

The new version is no longer easy to use, preferences no longer easily accessible and don't stick so you can't have read items automatically hidden, you have to reenter "hide read " every time now. Colour scheme is ugly. If you can stick with this legacy version do so

X70%
by X####:

Using BeyondPod for both tablet and phone, simply love it.

X70%
by X####:

Absolutely perfect application with all sorts of capabilities. Keep it up guys.

Q70%

Excellent product. Don't want to lose it.

Very easy to use and has a great search function

A70%
by A####:

I had a 5* review here but since I had problems I wrote to support and they've not bothered to respond at all which isn't very good especially since I am a paying customer
