When my black box Franz kicked the bucket I was heartbroken. Needed something quick and this fits the bill!

One thing that needs improvement is the scrolling speed for the tempo bar.

K70%
by K####:

I use the arrangement feature to breakup my running cadence to warm up, mid run, and sprint to finish, followed by warm down. It is a little buggy when other apps come to foreground, but otherwise a very good app.

S70%
by S####:

This app is the result of mixing a tremendous programming skills with a real deep music knowledge. Thank you so much for this powerfull app.

S70%
by S####:

The most customizable metronome I've ever seen by far, allowing you to place beats on any sixteenth note at varying volumes to help you hit just the notes you need. Not just a met, an assistant for learning music!

X70%
by X####:

It takes a while to get the hang of it. But it is worth it. Hopefully the thing is to be able to define rhythm per beat bases. Also some folder of basic patterns will help the beginners

by T####:

Good job guys, here are a few improvements to make it even better 1) make it so the metronome keeps playing when the device gets locked and so you can toggle it on and off from the lock screen 2) have + - tempo buttons on the side or something, because the tempo wheel is very sensitive, which is good for big changes for the tempo, but smaller changes are difficult as it is so easy to go over the desired tempo

This is a free metronome app. It has more features than most paid metronomes. It has subdivision, different metronome sounds, adjustable tempo, you can save the metronome settings. I find it very useful for battery ensemble at my local highschool. It is wonderful that it doesn't have advertisements. I find this app so useful and amazing that if if I found a patreon page for the developer... I would definitely donate. This app shouldn't be free for the quality that you get.

I'm a drummer and I use this app during while warming up and when I'm reading and practicing new exercises. The app is simply laid out and intuitive while being versatile in ways other comparable apps are not. The ability to increase tempo gradually is neat l. Like one other reviewer here, I also think it would be nice if when increasing the BPM over time, whether gradually or in steps, I could also set the number of bars the BPM stays at my maximum BPM . All in all though, a much more useful app than others I've found. Highly recommend.

I believe it's tools like this that will help drummers reach the next level. Being able to hear any subdivision with any accent over any time signature not the mention throwing poly rhythms into the mix makes this a gamechanger. Easy to use and the perfect friend for practice.

I am using it as accelerated induction. Very useful by adjusting silence bar I can make ping sound starting from 12 second . Much better than many other meditation apps. Choice of sound file should added.

Excellent app, great experience, the speed trainer is awesome, u can create so many rhythms using the accent and beat setting, the arranger is good. Overall, great metronome app.

Z70%
by Z####:

I tried a lot of metronomes and this one is the best for my needs. I love the tempoincrement feature and use it a lot (even for sports!). You can adjust the change of tempo by acceleration steps. Which i did not find elsewhere (even in Pro Metronome where you can adjust the change in tempo by beat or by time). It means you can control the precise number of repetitions. These are my suggestions for refining this feature: - it would be great to have some sort of countdown (both audible and visible) before the metronom starts playback. - once the tempo has reached the target BPM it would be practical to stay on it for a while (the number of beats with the target BPM could be made adjustable) Thank you for the app!

I had another metronome app that kept crashing so I downloaded this instead. I couldn't be happier. The ability to set the accent is absolutely incredible. The controls may appear to be a little complex at first but it's worth taking the time to figure it out. The speed up/slow down by step or by slope is an excellent feature for building accuracy and speed. So pleased I had to edit my review to add more praise. By now this reads like I have a vested interest in the app, but I'm just really pleased with it.

Great, versatile metronome - The best for complex rhythms! Not that easy to handle but has way more features than any other I tried - and I tried many. You need basic knowledge of music notation to understand it, and it takes a little while to create more complex rhythms, but you can fine-adjust them better than in any other app. For example change the volume of each accent individually.

S70%
by S####:

This is mindblownly good. Why did this take so many years to be created. Insane. Such a beautiful and simple interface, every setting is so quickly done. You can set what sounds you want, you can have at least 3 different sounds for any type of subdivision and you can also adjust the level of each individual note??? OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS INSANE!!!!

S70%
by S####:

I've tried numerous metronome apps including some that are non-free, and this has the the best features of them all. The design isn't like a typical metronome, but shouldn't be difficult for a musician to figure out. The benefit is that the design allows building nearly any time signature, creating rhythms, ploynomes, accent patterns etc. Further, not only can you build a set list, you can actually program in charts with tempo or time signature changes. I also really appreciate the ability to manually or randomly silence bars to work on time keeping, and programmed tempo ramp up to practice rudiments. Really this app does everything I need and more.

I have no Idea why my Saved Bpm's from A To Z suddenly deleted with doing nothing! It wasted my time and effort saving a Bpm song s for about almost 150 songs that I play almost everynight.. but this metronome is good nor the program. Fix the problem pls. I am planning to donate some money but suddenly that happened and makes me not to donate. I was so happy with it.

S70%
by S####:

Great app! I've used many metronome apps and this one smokes them by far. The only thing I could see being a problem is the complexity, which for beginners it may seem daunting. Even I had a little difficulty figuring things out but it only took me a minute. If they would add mini tutorials for different sections I'm sure everyone would love it.

There's a line from Mr. Robot where Elliot says, "It's good. It's so good, it scratched that part of my mind... the part that doesn't allow good to exist without condition," however, unlike what he was referring to, this app is genuinely just good. It's almost ridiculously good. It's free, there are no ads whatsoever, and it's packed with nifty features that make it shockingly flexible. My only complaint is that my analog metronome is now useless to me.

S70%
by S####:

It is a step forward from all the rest I've already tried. You can create pretty complex rhytms with a simple touch. May look complicated at first but it gets clear in a minute. Free, no adverts. All I need is here.

T70%
by T####:

If you don't like this metronome, if it's not the greatest metronome you've ever used, if you can't believe that somebody, somewhere is amazing enough to create an ad-free metronome app that blows all other metronome apps out of the water... It's because you don't understand music well enough to know what you have just downloaded. Whoever made this app... THANK YOU!

S70%
by S####:

Complex to work out at first. But does everything you could want from a metronome once you get used to it. Can tailor rythyms within beats within tempos to a minute complexity. And can save your custom rythyms. Perfect in fact.

S70%
by S####:

Well done, although it's not that easy to set up an arrangement. I'm giving 5 stars if you add a feature for adding complex bars such as 5/16, 3/16, etc and for making even easier. I thought about some ideas you could use in this app, if you want I'll pass you those ideas. I'm a musician and I waited some time for an app like this. Thank You.

I love this metronome! It does just what I wanted and way, way more. It has features I wouldn't have even imagined a metronome would have like being able to pick the sound. And I've only just started exploring, can't wait to see all it can do.

S70%

This is beautiful and gives so much. My only issue is with me. Not an experienced note reader makes setting up some click talks difficult. But I'll be looking for tutorials.

After testing many metronome apps, I finally found my favorite. Lightweight, free, no ads, and full of useful features in a very intuitive interface (seriously, I don't understand how could anyone find it hard). After installing this one, I don't think I will consider searching for other options. As a suggestion, I'd love to have snare and bass drums in the sound bank, or at least a way to import custom sounds -- but even without it, the app is awesome. Many thanks to the developer!

S70%

Great app with all the features I need. Unfortunately it keeps stopping when the screen goes off, while charging, and seemingly for other random reasons. Which sadly renders it useless. Uninstalled.

S70%

Finally a metronome with polyrhythmic functions that works! It's also packed with functions that I didn't even know of before, but now I can't live without. It's obvious that this app is designed by a musician! Love it!

Compared to three other nomes, and this is the most powerful by far. Not only in terms of sound choices, but also in terms of subdivision, accel., Deccel., muted notes, accented notes. It's thorough. To give you an idea of experience of metronomes for me, I'm a classically trained percussionist, with a background in rudimental snare, and south Indian drumming ( in Carnatic music, the tempo NEVER changes)... Basically, dr beat is my god (rhythm watch really but not as nice of a name), but this is nice too

P70%

This app is awesome for serious musicians who wantn to take practice seriously. Highly recommend for anybody who is interested in serious practice. You are able to basically configure any type of metronome beat you want! And it's free!! You cannot beat that! Thank you so much for the developers! Kudos to you guys!

S70%
by S####:

Using the individualized or custom sound profiles it will not generate triplets, quintuplets or septuplets. This is the only problem if encountered so far, but it's a pretty important one... It would also be useful if there was a 'tap tempo' function to input tempo rather that just selecting s number

S70%
by S####:

Great app! I love that it's ad free! I'm not yet familiar with all the features, as I'm currently using it for practice pad drills, but one thing I really wish it had is a volume control within the app. Can you do this? Anyway, thanks very much!!

If you serious about music, you need a metronome. I tried 4 different apps and 2 keep the bit metronome like devices. I end up using this one because it has all the features I need, it's accurate, and it's small. The interface is a bit clunky and not very intuitive, but after you've figured out and set what you want, you can save the setting and not worry about it again.

S70%

I made a 16 min practice routine beat that changes from quarter notes to eight notes several times and it is killer.

Great design, great tool, great tempo accuracy, great features, pretty pretty smart. It is obvious this app was made not only for a musician but an excellent musician plus an excellent developer. Im very happy thanks for this app.

I'm an extreme metal drummer. I need higher than 300bpm. But why should anybody have to use math for a metronome in today's world? Also, with the metronome set to half speed, I practice in 10bpm ascending increments. Which, if I use your metronome, I have to increase 5 BPM for the same effect. I just don't see why you would make a digital metronome with a max speed of 300 BPM when you could have just made it higher. Hell. FL studio goes up to 999 for Christ's sake. Why make it clunky?

S70%
by S####:

If only you could add more realistic drum sounds... There are plenty online, like bass drum beat or a more realistic hi-hat, or a realistic snare sound. It takes some learning curve but after that the app is good to go. The tempo slider could be a little smaller and less sensitive. I wish there was an ad bar at the bottom so I would feel like the creator is getting more out of creating this wonderful app. Will definitely donate.

So good. So comprehensive. Full of features that all work properly. No ads. Only complaint is the UI is kind of ugly but it's extremely functional. And I pick function over from anyday.

Please try to keep this app free forever, it is the answer us musicians have been looking for for a long time.
