This app didn't download cartridges from the wherigo website. Found out it only likes certain browsers. Firefox, now downloading cartridges okay! One star off because I can't download cartridges from within this app!

Using a Samsung galaxy 7 Android phone. The app will open a cartridge and will navigate OK. It will NOT trigger the next stage in the wherigo even when I am as close as 1 foot on the display. I began over 400' away, so opening the cartridge in close proximity was not an issue.

Getting the app to recognize cartridges on a Galaxy S8+ was a real challenge. Cartridges saved to the sd card could be recognized but not read. I eventually figured out that I needed to create a file titled "sdcard0" on internal memory, into which the cartridges could be saved and played.

Doesn't work with Android phones on play anywhere cartirages​.

Error loading the cache

Too complicated for me. Tried to move files and whatnot like it says to, but I can't figure it out. Guess I just won't do whereigos, because there just can't be a simple way to make it work like it should.

Works seamlessly with c:geo for geocaching. Love the picture quality and sound file playing. Has been freezing a lot today, hope just the server stuff that affected many websites today.

Every time I try to download a cartridge it gives a login error. Logged on correctly on site and C:geo cannot get it to work however I try and download them

Was curious about WhereIGo as I am a geocacher. Downloaded the app. Downloaded a cartridge. Was completely unable to get the app to locate the cartridge, even after creating the location suggested by the app. Will uninstall app until things get worked out so I can play this alongside geocaching.

This app worked great on my Samsung S3 phone. But now that I just bought an S7, I cannot get this app to work. Here's what it says: No Wherigo cartridge available. Add cartridge file (*gwc) into/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/menion.android.whereyougo/files/directory And start Whereyougo again! SO....all I know how to do, and what I did previously, is dragged the file into the folder. (from my desk top computer, after downloading a cartridge, and then dragged into the whereyougo folder on the phone). And obviously that doesn't work anymore. I don't know how to get deeper into Android files on the phone, that's over my head. Help! Please!

I am a WheriGo game developer and this worked nicely on my Android Note. Specified game file location does not even exist on my Samsung S5 (Marshmallow ). Help me keep the flame alive and tell us all how to store the game file so that the program can find it on S5 I've always has amazed that this APP installs on my Samsung products and creates a WheriGo directory and never uses it .... The best target for a PC to Android pick and transfer of a file. Fix that and lots of folks will be happy, I'd bet.

yeah this little program does have some quirks but it's awesome and gave me and my friends hours of happiness playing wherigo caches.

Get a login error when I try to download the cartridges so I can't try it out

I put the cartridge in whereyougo folder but app says there are no cartridges

It doesn't work! Fails to connect when trying to sign into wherigo website! Does not find a known cartridge. Just a waste of time and effort!

I had done 5-6 cartridges. They worked okay but the directional component was awful. We had to look at the distance as it went up or down, to determine where we needed to go next. Now we can't even get them to open. We can see them in the computer, that they are listed in our phone, but the phone keeps saying there are no cartridges downloaded. Very frustrating as now we cannot do Where I Go caches. Nor buying I-phone just for that

You guys need to come out with an easier and more direct way for us to upload the files on Android 6.0

UPDATE: Cartidges placed in sdcard1 (the real SD card) are not recognized as valid. However putting the cartridge folder in sdcard0 (the phone memory, really) makes them work again. BTW WYG has no problems reading offline maps from sdcard1. *************************** I upgraded to an Android 5.0.2 phone, installed WYG, and it does not recognize any of my cartridges. I only have two GWC files in the folder, no save files, but it gives "Invalid cartridge" for both cartridges -- they used to work with the latest WYG on my old phone.

For what is essentially a "Beta" app this works very well. Everyone has to remember that we are TESTERS not USERS. :) I haven't found a cart that it will not play. Even some of the "Play Anywhere" carts that give the online emulators fits work with WhereYouGo. Thanks for keeping the WIG alive on Android!

Some great improvements in newest update. Still has some major bugs, but it's still not a full release, so it's to expected. What I wished was we could donate to development and give the developer more time to work on this app to make it good.

This ap freezes all the time for me. Last time it also didn't recognize any of my multiple saves I did along the route.

Thank you for the latest updates. They really addressed some major flaws from prior versions. Testing of my existing cartridges has been very positive. Please continue improving this app, Wherigo's are an amazing cache type but lack good apps to play them on.

I can't download any it says download error

I have a Samsung galaxy a3 phone and for some reason when I went to do a whereyougo last nite my compass was not pointing I the right direction it didn't pick up my speed or tell me how far I was. I love geocaching and thought this was great luckily wasn't a waste of journey as someone else with a Samsung was able to get his to work and point in the correct direction very disappointed

Downloaded app and cannot get a cartridge to even download, says there is a log in failure...

So disappointed. I am new to caching and downloaded this to do a Wherigo, It will not even let me sign in. I add my user name and it acts like nothing was entered.

Was working on a cartridge for an hour. The app closed. I reloaded it and loaded the saved game, but there were no locations anymore. I can't do anything without restarting the entire thing!! What a waste of time!

Only just installed this and straight away.. NO CARTRIDGE! they need to fix this urgently.

Getting error messages with downloads and trying to open, known good, cartridges. It used to work great.

Can no longer download cartridges. Gives me an error message every time. Worked in my s5 but not the s3 or the s6.

I have built over 100 WIGO's and this app works great. Been using this app for over a year and I'm real happy with the progress with the development. Update: 6/27/2015 - You can no longer download cartridges via the application. Errors out. I hope this gets fixed quick.

Won't download the cartridge. Just beeps and says login error. Please fix it.

I'm using this app for two years now for occasional wherigo caches and so far never had any problem ever with it. It's simple app which does it's job marvellously.

Great app works really well. Love using it

Needs a fix to be able to do the older cartridges. Not very useful anymore
