Back2You for Android
App s not working properly in my mobile. Its not getting connected vit my mobile. Device working manually vit sms. I dont if it s bcoz in using in uae..
Rubbish, easier to text the tracker manually.
Based on the latest version, all battery issues are fixed and this is now a great app for tracking your GPS devices! If your device is indoors not picking up gps, this app clearly shows you cell tower triangulation which is a cool feature.
It is not always responsive and sometime point to wrong location. It doesn't show the map but by picture.
I installed this on rooted Samsung Galaxy S running Android 4.1.1 CyanogenMod ROM. It was OK for a day or so and then started drawing humungous power, flattening battery in a few hours. Reinstalled, and it did the same. Tech support said it's a problem with my Android installation. I'm not so sure. Unable to use the app which is a pity as sending long text messages to control the tracker is a pain. Also I just learned that the app will not give you a GPS location for the tracker, only an approximate location based on the nearest cellular network mast. This is because the app can't now import the coordinates from the text message which the tracker sends back. This feature was disabled by an Android upgrade. It probably still works on earlier Androids, but I am on Jelly Bean. So the app is only useful for sending messages to the tracker, so you don't have to remember them. I find I can force stop the app to save battery, and restart it when I need it, which isn't often. Overall, it needs a fair bit of development before it gets more stars from me.
Tried and failed to work on samsung s3 phone. Asked for support and had no calls returned.
Had no issues with this app and my Android version 2.3.6.
Bargain at the price. Had a problem with it on my Galaxy Mini but emailed the developer and was sent a fix within hours, and at the weekend! Great service - many a national company should take a leaf out of his customer service book... Buy the app.
Worked well on my Galaxy s, and now the s3. Excellent user interface to the simple GPS Tracker device. A must buy...
