Meanwhile In Space

Meanwhile In Space is the short way to connect to the NASA live stream on Ustream.tv to see our wonderful planet earth in realtime from space in 4 different angles.

The High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment:
4 cameras has been attached outside of the ISS.
Though temperature is controlled, the cameras are exposed to the radiation from the sun, that allows astronauts to understand how radiation affects their instruments.

The cameras point down at Earth 24 hours a day.
(The feed will sometimes go down as the signal switches between the cameras also it is hard to see when the ISS is on the dark side of the planet. If the cameras are down, the screen will turn grey.)
