Web Alert (Website Monitor) for Android
Best app..i have ever used.. please add desktop site recording..Some sites work on desktop only
Simple and easy to use. This is what I excatly want.
Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect tool to be notified when the new flat for rent is available!
I like this app, easy to use
This app is almost unbelievable, when I looked for different possible implementations of that idea, I came across WebAlert. It's as if my brain was scanned the night before to extract exactly the kind of approach I didn't even realize was exactly what I wanted. I was thinking about regex parsers and scrapers, even the complicated and intelligent ones, was gonna put together a script myself (because it's fun). But then I saw this app.. didn't wanna write a parser anymore. For anyone thinking along those lines about this app, that's not exactly the case. Very direct approach for an app to do what it does best, and then for the user to take over and do what human mind does best by just skimming though the results. Expansion pack is fantastic, kind of a combination of both in a sense, I'd recommend everyone to at least look through its description. Wanna thank the dev for all the work, it's superb.
This ap changed my life. It's freed up my time so I can get other things done while it checks for website changes. So far it's been 100% accurate. I'm in love!!
Brilliantly designed. Needs log of page load times. Need alert for slow page loads. Slow page load due to host problems can badly hurt a website SEO and customer experience. This is a huge need.
After hours of messing with other website monitoring apps and wasting my time, I finally found this app. It's free, easy, and gets the job done. Deserved 5 stars.
I would like to monitor many sites, i would buy the full version if i could monitor them in diferent time intervals. Now i only can choose one. So if i want to check one site every minute and other every day, i have to choose only one. Still amazing work - thank you
I'm not a technical user but I do a lot of research on the net, and I've been looking for a webpage tracker for ages (incl on Windows). This app despite being still in beta already seems to be the best. It has been reliable so far (check the execution log if in doubt; wish there could be an accumulator record because it did miss a change), flexible auto-check schedule from 5 minutes to a week (although I wish we could specify a starting time), not giving false alerts over unimportant (e.g. ads) changes, and with an unlimited record of changes. The latter is very important for example to be able to see when a price had been jacked up prior to a "sale". I hope this app will continue to be the forerunner of similar apps...
If I wanted to have to manual check for changes I would just monitor the site myself. I am not paying for an expansion when I could just have my laptop ping instead for free with an online app with time intervals for free. Honestly this isn't worth it.
Web Alert is a very well designed app with lots of features. It's versatile and can be used to monitor any online data automatically. Support is really good and features are added if requested.
App uses too much ram as big as 1.3 gb after few hours. I have 3 gb ram but only remains 300 mb after few hours of running app in background.
Very good app. However vibrates on alert despite this setting unchecked in settings page.
Worthless. Takes it forever to do the individual steps for accessing and login to a website and navigating to a particular page.
Its getting auto killed.. Please add it to services ao it can't be get killed
It's very handy app however requires some DOM knowledge otherwise you'll may either be notified to often or not notified at all.
Really awesome app I love this app thank u so for this awesome app dear team
A++ Haven't found anything on mobile or desktop that has the functionality of this app.
The best app around. No more time wasting using visuals, easy to use, multitasking ensured. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Design is also good except, for late 90's icon ;D
Great but make shorter interval
I like it
You should add a new feature sync. It was hard you are getting a new phone or another phone to get it setup .
Genius application. Would love to thank the dev for such wonderful stable app.
Not working for Secure Webpages.
Easy to use and alerts on website changes exactly as designed!
It's simply the best
Just awesome app.
Works as expected.
This is basically my favorite app. Perfect.
It works! It's clean! It's sooo convenient!!!
This app is just amazing
Perfect App
This app does exactly what it says on the tin - tracks changes to a webpage and alerts you at regular intervals. I've been waiting on some limited edition sales of some items I've been hoping to buy for a long time and as soon as they went on sale I knew thanks to the app. Very easy to use as well, don't know of any other app that does the job this well!
I use it for price monitoring a site and it works perfect. Some suggestions for Dev: 1. notification when server error, 2. Search for a product in the main window, 3. Multiple selections (frames) to monitor on a single page. Are these doable, Dev? Thanks!
This app is exactly what I was looking for! Only issue is that it bogs down my phone to the point that it becomes nearly unusable! As soon as I disable the app my phone will start working great again. Fixing this will jump the app up to 5 stars, but for now I just can't use the app. Running on an HTC one m8. Update: app froze phone so bad, it took 10 minutes to be able to disable it. This really needs to get fixed.... If it weren't for this it would be a five star app, but it makes my phone unusable.
Does slow phone down, have noticed app just keeps consuming memory, went from 0.5GB to over 1.1GB in a day which crippled my phone. Just rebooted now and web alert is now taking up 187 MB. Memory issue might have been related to me changing the webview implementation in developer options from Google webview to chrome beta. Since I've changed this setting this apps memory is no longer increasing exponentially. It rises and now falls post check back down to 181MB.
I used this to get an item I needed that's hard to find. Set alerts for that item from different stores. Within an hour I got a notification that the website changed and I got my item! So easy! Love it. Wish there was pause button for alerts, though.

Useful tool for monitoring updates. It saves time! Now I can focus on my work and not check 10 pages per date for various updates
