VoiceMap GPS Audio Tours for Android
Crashes immediately Nexus 6
Installs, opens and shows a banner "Voice map". That's all it does.
A brilliant way to take tours guided by your location and a story teller.
Excellent. Used this app for a walk in Singapore. Spot on!
Keeps freezing on S7 Edge. Unusable with the current version.

I downloaded the Cape Point tours to enjoy whilst visiting this remarkable natural park. First, it didnt find me at the starting point. Then it wouldn't play, so i started the tour manually. Then, the app would become unresponsive every few minutes. I rebooted the phone and kept all other apps off, thinking it might be my phone. It wasn't. About halfway through the tour, i gave up. This is a great idea, but i wonder if i am alone with this terrible experience?
Loved the Catalina walking tour. Fun and easy to use!
I love the flexibility of these tours. I hate keeping people waiting for me or feeling rushed when I explore a new place so guided tours often make me feel restricted. I also find that reading up about a place never sinks in. Listening to the stories that are triggered at the right place gives them context so I found I learned lots that I probably wouldn't have done otherwise.
Absolutely essential to see some less-known places. I tried the Prague tours.
good.
Downloaded this app while in NOLA paid $4.99 for the French Quarter tour and the app worked for the first 5 minutes.. then crashed and I was unable to get it to start back or load again. The developer tried to figure out why it was crashing and it appears to be an operating system error. I will look forward to trying the guided tours on my next trip.
Used this on holiday in London and did the free Theatreland tour by Ian McKellen first. The GPS playback is uncannily accurate. Did a few of the other tours in the city later. All good, but not as good as Sir Ian's.
Brilliant app for exploring while you walk, really enjoyed the Bo Kaap stories. Keep it up!
I wanted to give this a high five. I really did. I think the idea is fabulous, and the tour I used was well written, and while informative, it wasn't overly talky. But. Even though I was less than 1 km from a phone tower for the whole tour, and I had my roaming mobile data on, and I was getting a full set of bars, I kept getting ''poor signal'; on the app, which meant the geo-location kept dropping out. Which meant the tour had no idea where I was, and couldn't nudge me in the right direction. I had to keep resetting the tour - which started it from the beginning, so I had to manually find my closest audio spot, and again the geo location couldn't find me. So, for most of it, I had to manually trigger the audio. It's a good thing I knew where I was going. But, this took the 'relax, walk and listen' aspect from the guide, as I kept having to check where I was against where audio spots were, trigger the audio, then work out where the next audio spot actually was in relation to the subject matter of the audio. So, not such a great experience for me.
A wonderful way to experience and share your and others' cities!
Great app

Edinborough scotland army camps
Like walking through a real life movie
Great app :)
Free to download, but each guide costs $$$, and they only had 2 guides for the entirety of Rome
Walking
I've given the system 3
Basically, you have to pay an average of £2 per tour audio. Might as well hire a real life tour guide
Explored Spier Wine Farm
Great app
Great stories
Couldn't even sign up, this should be Delta version
Had a great time today exploring Muizenberg with Colleen our enthusiastic narrator. Such an intimate and nuanced way to experience a place. Can't wait for the next walk. All travel lovers check this amazing app out!! Recommend sharing wireless headphones for best (but least hilarious) results...
A new fantastic way to explore and has potential to be applied to so many other contexts. Can't wait to see where content creators take this next!
I love it.
Awesome idea with great execution. It cleverly immerses you into your surroundings with captivating stories and local insight. The app's interface is intuitive and looks great. Looking forward to new routes as they get more popular.
A fantastic, well executed app that weaves you into the stories you listen to. Cannot wait to download more walks in Cape Town! Devs and locals have done a steller job! ^-^
It's a big app and can get HUGE if you download lots of stuff. It really needs to be able to go on your SD card

Great app. It does crash if you switch out of it to you camera. But other than that this was a really fun outing
