Pinyin Table

Most mandarin learning apps (incuding google translate) have female voices. I dont know if it makes a difference to anyone else but i was worried i was starting to sound like a chinese lady

I was excited for the chart design, but came out disappointed because od the obvious inaccuracy in the wrong pronunciation for o ending. Just testing Bo and found the voice pronounced it like Bu "boo" whereas it should be more like "bor". I know this is a simple fix, but it's glaring defect halted me from looking over the rest of the app for other features or to see if there are more mistakes. 10 seconds into the app and already uninstalling.

No sound at all, Im using MI Max 2 international version device. It seems to me is a bug. please fix it. the rest is very good

Does what it says on the tin. (This is a Good Thing). The initial "y" is missing from the legend column, though the row is there. Offline audio would be good - and faster to load. Not seeing any pop-up Ads mentioned in other reviews. Not yet. That would be irritating and tasteless.

I'm getting pop ups ads of young girls. Not very happy about this. Uninstalling and installing ad free one that does the same thing.

Really love this alot is it possible to download audio for offline use?

Focus hijacking is so 90s. Learning Chinese is now. This app brings those two together. This app is uninstalled. Full screen ads just suck.

Please add day mode. Light grey color scheme option. You can also add a lock icon to your top left cell that quickly locks the initial and final row without going into preferences.

I liked the Pinyin Table app very much. The only downside for me is that looking up the audio for the syllables/tones was slow, and required what seemed like a lot of touches to navigate. Getting the sounds from the internet slows down the pace a lot. Having the option to store the sounds right on the phone would give a big speed boost. I frequently find myself listening to two or a few syllables/tones in rapid succession, over and over, to learn what makes them distinct. Besides storing sounds locally this app might benefit from having a way to "record" a few syllables (in one, some, or all tones) and trigger the playing of them with a single touch gesture or menu choice. It might also be good to play them repeatedly until told to stop. Nevertheless, this is a very nice, intuitive, and clean app. I am favorably impressed, especially since so much is right in the initial version. Thank you for taking the time to put it together and making it (freely!) available.

The sound files can take almost a minute to load each sound, even when connected to high speed wifi

For such a recent release this app is excellent. The frequent updates by the dev ensure this will be a full featured app in no time
