I tried quite a few but this seems to be the best.Helps really a lot :)

Seems like the developer is no longer maintaining this app. It is great but really needs some improvements. This is what stops me from purchasing... What a shame

Have been looking at about ten different notes learning apps and this is the only one that's given me a pleasant experience so far. What I really like about it was 1. The number of options available for different users and 2. They don't ask you to press notes on the same key when they're actually in different octaves. A lot other apps do that because they're only showing a single octave on the keyboard. It's a bad practice if you're serious about learning how to play

This is exactly what I was looking for - something that lets me learn the notes at my own pace (I only know treble clef at the moment) that I can take with me. It's not a replacement for sheet music or books, but it is something that I can use to reinforce what I'm learning on a train or between meetings.

Start screen doesn't respond to touch, then Force closes on my Samsung galaxy ace.

I'm a piano teacher and this game is great in theory, however it says you miss the notes half the time even though you get them right.

I do not have a menu key on my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. I can't set the preference and so I can't use it.

Example: in key of E in bass clef, the F# does not apply to octave lower. Should be easy for the developer. Overall great app.

Is it possible to incorporate phone's microphone like the tuner app. This will help incredibly to learn to play piano scales etc. Willing to pay for something like that!!!

The scoring doesn't make sense. It is backwards. 3 misses = PERFECT!???? Please fix

I decided to learn to read music and downloaded all the apps I could find. Although this app was doesn't have the most attractive design, it is the best one because its stable and has a wide range of controls. One thing lacking that some other apps had is ranking or charting your progress.

Very useful app. The two modes (practice and normal) are a nice way two practice reading sheet music. Comes with lots of options, although not all of them are clearly explained. For beginners, the slowest speed will already be too fast, although with the practice mode that does not really matter. Suggestions: * In case of a mistake, display the note that the user played over the scrolling score in red. * Add a metronome option as an auditory timing queue. * Allow game speed to be any value. Specifically, allow it to go slower * Shorten intro and outro times. * Calculate an overall score in addition to the component scores, to make it easier to compete with yourself. * Add a 'dynamic speed' option, which speeds up as the user gets more notes right

I mostly play by ear, but after 20yrs of that, I've decided to give 'learning theory' a good go, and this app is awesome for learning! Cheers!

I wish you could put up the guiar version you had so we could answer with a fretboard.I love this version but, I need a guitar one since I play piano and guitar. As for this version, its perfect.

As a beginner, this app made it easy for me to get faster at reading and playing music. Hopefully they can offer longer and more difficult long pieces later on because I love the way this app is set up, and it would be great to help people on the more intermediate and expert levels as well.

Great app to learn your music notes, but it would be even better if you included the other staff as well (the notes played by the left hand in the piano)

This is a great training app because you need to recognise the note with a given time. Please could we have the option to go slower than 40. Thanks :-)
