About Snoway

Snoway is a completely cloud software developed for Android.

With the help of GPS and accelerometer allows tracking in real time, the path you are following on a ski slope.

By downloading the application will be possible not only to measure and track the time of descent, but also display:
- Maximum speed
- Total distance
- Maximum Airtime in your jumps.
- Take pictures and display them on the map.
- Request help. All the skiers close to you who are using Snoway will be warned.

At the end of the day, you will receive an email with all the statistics on the routes and you can also follow the trends of other riders who have similar directions.

Every time I opened the map it crashed. Pretty annoying, so I uninstalled it.

It seems good, but I tested the SOS feature (one of the coolest features) with my friend who was a foot away from me and it did not work. One idea that came to my mind that would add to this feature is this: if a person is detected going more than 15 mph or so and this person came to a quick stop (indicating a crash) and stayed there for five minutes or more (indicating a major injury) the application could automatically send out an SOS or more (911 maybe) without the person doing it.

Agree with the comment below, you should try and include the pitch of the slope in degrees ie. It's steepness. Would be a useful figure to know.

The one suggestion that I have is to add a vertical height counter. Sometimes it can be useful and interesting to know howmuch height you've gained/lost during your skiing
