Raag (Raga) Database is a free, constantly-updating app dedicated to putting important information about North Indian Classical Raags in your pocket.

As a composer, I found this app an extremely helpful resort during serious work. It's a useful guide for composers & Indian music trainees. And this app is not stupid like ragakosh or several other apps where you need to bloody search for a name & then find it!

Amazing app Sam! Thanks a lot. Just one suggestion: Considering the presence of practically infinite raags developed over time, expecting you to add each one of them would be very cruel ;) . However, could you provide us with an option of adding/editing our own raags in our database? Also, if u cud get us an option of adding our database entries to yours, and then update the app accordingly, a lot of effort on your side will be also saved, plus your app will develop faster. Think abt it! Thanks!

Awesome app. Contains the correct aaroh and avaroh for each raag. It is a very good thing that all its raags are categorised on the basis of their thaats. This app also tells the vaadi and samvaadi for each raag. Now I can easily play raags on my virtual piano.
