Offline Bible (Reader Only)

I could go down on my knees & worship God profusely because of this awesome app. For so long i've looking for an app that could give all these versions "under one hood", & all free!!! I don't think there could be a better Bible app than this. For study, i could easily do a combo with another material.. but this app does exactly what i want in a Bible app...all the important versions in here completely accessible offline!!!

I'd give this more than 5 stars if I could. I will never consider not having an Android phone since this app is not on the Apple or Windows stores. Perfect interface, night mode is easy on the eyes, any translation - including NIV 1984 - at your fingertips, and the remarkably small size of the app make this my overwhelmingly most used and favorite app. I use it every day. Excellent work.

The most awesome app...Developers are indeed Christ-Like Christians...this app is absolutely free to enhance the gospel. This a way to increase the and spread the word. Unlike the so called Christians developers that are asking us to pay dollars for their apps... Imagine when they also get to throne of Judgment and they are also asked to pay dollars before they judged...this mentality of selling gospel apps shall be judged...

Flat out THE best Bible app for android. I seriously went through so many other Bible apps, even from official Bible publishers but they just weren't as easy to use or have an offline mode like this one. This may be a no frills, simple app but that's all it needs to be. Job well done!

Excellent app. Unfortunately since I changed to Samsung Galaxy S5 on Marshmallow from S4 Lollipop, After installing bible versions and restarting it doesn't then let me change version or manage versions. It says "Bible data is updating, please wait..." When I try to launch it from a link in the ODB Our Daily Bread app it says "Checking Bible Data...". This all worked fine before. Reinstalling seems to work until I restart the app then it stops working again.

This is my favorite Bible app. As an online English tutor, I recommend it to my students. For English learners, the best versions are the ERV and NIRV. Everything is free and there are many choices in other languages. With this app, you can switch back and forth from your native language to the English. More than 5 stars!

It doesn't like to go to wanted book, or chapter, unless you hold your finger on the book or chapter. If you only touch it without holding it stays where you were before. Not very condusive for lecture: no speed! By the time you sit around holding your finger on somthing, the person on floor has moved onto another verse & now your twice as far behind!

My only dislike is that I was expecting each verse to start a new line but that's not too much if an issue. I just love this Bible to the max. I highly recommend this App and thanks a lot to the wonderful person behind this app. God bless you mightyly.

Amazing app. But I think there should be a way to login and save highlighted verses on an account. That way if one downloads the app on another phone. He can recover all his saved favorite verses. I lost all of mine, when I formatted my phone. So now I feel hurt. Help developers!

I love this app so much its the best offline Bible App out there. I WISH I was able to get a hold of Liu and see about an iOS version as I've had to switch to an iPhone. This is the only bummer I have is I don't see that version out there. Please respond Liu if this is at all possible!

Love the app. For some weird reason, however, when you switch no the next chapter it does not start you out at verse 1. It's never done this to me, and I even tried to re-download it. It's a little disappointing when it's all of a sudden started to do it. Is there a bug that needs to be fixed? Is there some remedy I can try?

Never have I read the epistles of Paul with so much understanding! With all the versions of the Bible at hand & with the additional notes, it becomes so much more meaning! Thank you for the tools to a better understanding of he's letters. Amen!

Finally the bible app that doesnt have all the extra stuff you dont need! Also the only bible app I know that has NIV 1984 <3

This app is awesome! It is very good, easy to use as well as you can have more than one bible versions. I wiped my phone & I had to search for it again

It doesn't keep awake as other Bible apps do. It annoys to keep tapping it to keep it awake. Do something to keep it awake as long as we need it. God bless.

I have been using this app from phone to phone. My favorite reading bible. Only complain is no parallel reading feature if i want to compare bible version. It would be five stars if this feature is available.

It has a lot of versions available so you don't have to install different bibles for other versions. Has a good feature for keyword search. May be it is also a good feature if you could add a bookmark option.

Not interested in bible reading plans, fancy layouts, and other add-ons? Just want to read the bible or quickly access multiple versions? Then this is the app for you! It's simple, free, and can be completely offline while reading. Best of all, no ads!

What's different about this Bible app is the unobtrusive cross-references, & when you tap one you don't lose your place. And what's not to love about all the many free, off-line versions--with no ads? How did they do that?!?

Great app that I love to use all the time. Problem I'm having though is when I go to Psalms and try selecting a chapter it crashes. Please fix this as it has worked before.

User friendly, easy and quick to highlight favourite favourite verses. Numerous offline Bibles including NIV, AMP, MSG, GNT, GW, ESV, ERV etc, multiples languages including Oshindonga, Kwanyama and Afrikaans, and much, much more. Needs improvement in expanding colour options for highlighting, and to allow users to save usage data such as verses highlighting for recovery in cases of phone reset etc. Possibly consider login user account features.

A friend is jealous that my Bible app looks great and ready to read but he has an iPhone. No ads and free. My guess is that the developer considers this his ministry. Great one.

If u are looking for bible with different languages and versions, user friendly, simple enough to bookmark, copy and share, this would be a great apps. I have installed and tried others, I find this is a very good one.

The absence of ads and the sharing button makes it owsome. Also cross reference between chapters and books and marking of favourite verses makes it more apealling. Red colour for the spoken words also a key for comprehensive reading. Thanks alot. If possible , include KIKUYU VERSION PLEASE AND I WILL ADD YOU THE FIFTH STAR !!!

Working perfectly but suddenly some books were not opening. If I tab on psalm for instance , genesis will open. Restarted Android phone several times but still some books will not open. I like this app and would love to have it. Wandering is it because it is free app that why it has stopped working? How can I pay for it in secure and safe payment mode?

I highly recommend this bible app! This is the best bible app that I have downloaded so far. You can change it to whatever version you like even if you're not connected to the internet. If I could just give 10 stars, I would do so! Thank you for this amazing app! Be blessed be yond measure!

This is such a cool app. It is complete and I am loving it. However, I have a request. Whenever I open the book of Psalms and change the chapter through pressing the number chapter in any versions that I downloaded, the app lags then crashes till it is close. Only the book of Psalms, others are at top condition. Hoping for you to fix it. Thank you and GOD bless Us all... :)

This app is truly serving in a simple & pleasing way. It gives you no problem or hassles using it. I have tried many bible apps but this one is simply the best for me so far. I recommend it to any Bible searching person. It will be a real service to your spiritual insight & growth. Many relevant translations available for free.

I have been using this app for a long time, and I have given it 5 stars. But now when I tried to add another Bible version, it got downloaded but didn't install. I tried clearing the cache and the data in the app but it didn't change the situation. Finally I uninstalled the app and installed it again. Now I am unable to install any Bible version at all!

No intrusive permissions, simple, light install without bloat. This is my favorite bible app after getting sick of the bloatware/spy ware bible apps that have ridiculous permissions and unnecessary garbage features.

I love that this is truly an offline bible! I used to use the other, more popular app, but all the recent changes to the interface have made it a pain to use... The only gripe I have is that with the pinch-to-zoom setting on, swiping between chapters causes the don't to grow...

Simple. Let's you choose which version you want to read. No adds that I can see to annoy and fits wonderfully on my screen. Well done. Should be Number One app for reading The Bible.

Easy to use app that is ad free with versions in just about every language; including Tongan which is difficult to find, praise God! :-) Would be even better with a parallel feature and offline study resources (dictionary, concordance, etc.) were available to download. Overall it's a blessing and I'm very thankful to have it especially when I'm out of data lol Thank you!!

Simple to use, fast, nice feature set without being overly complicated. Download your favorite versions, read offline. Stores its files on the SD card. No ads. Best of all, still supports the 1984 NIV.

Every time i change my device i look for this bible app. It has a wide range of versions to choose from. Great search area n u can change the vision n the font. Once in a while it denies a particular book but jus close the app reopen n u good to go.
