Le DPI Changer [ROOT] for Android
I used this app.. Then putted it on 250 dpi when my dpi was 240 I don't know if it was my fault that I need to restart it.. But one thing... It says system ui has stopped.
I don't know why anyone else didn't think of this before but it's an awesome solution without fiddling with build. Prop. Works flawlessly. ... Awesome!

Awesome I messed up by setting wrong dpi in my LG G4 and looking for some app which can allow me to enter the dpi that I want with out using keyboard there I found this app it helped pretty well
That app bricked my Device, I lost my all personal data. I will never use this app again
this thing simply wiped the build.prop file, after which the phone no longer booted into Android. On Lineage OS 14
I would rate it 10 stars if i can! Works perfectly on my device
It is also work in superuser and my android bit is badly and I am low DPI my android beautiful display
Works on the phones that I own. Try the other options if the standard one doesn't work for you.
It works with Stock ROM ZE551ML
Amazing for editing DPI using build.prop. love the app!!
Works like a charm!
Good app... Easy and awesome....
Don't use this app guys your phone will dead. (I PROMISE)
Always Used It
It took me about 5 days to fix my phone. My phone was not even bricked or bootlooped. It was something worse.
It does nothing when I clicked Set DPI
This app is really easy to use and simple and best of all this one did not brick my device
thinks its very useful and safe to use!! goodwork
I wanted to do something but it happend something else. But its good. But now the problem is that "I can't get my old phone"...(: ):
Works like a charm. I love that with each reboot it allows you to reverse the changes, just in case.
This app bricked my rooted phone after clicking EDIT BUILD.PROP and restarting it.
Does not work on my device, doesn't even say it's rooted
Work perfectly,
Perfect
Go to low without backing up your phone and say goodbye to your phone. It's not the app's fault if something goes wrong know what you're doing first and it will be a piece of cake.
Always Used It
Every time I start up my phone the app gives the notification of whether I'm happy with the dpi change. How do I stop this? I'm using LG G4 and had to change using shell WM as regular method didn't work.

i need the old vr which no such permissions!
Used with Omni ROM on Oppo Find 7, thanks to the Dev great app
Every rooted users must use this app....am resize the app icons...thank u developer
I couldn't find a review for the Galaxy Note 3 so I figured I'd be the first one to test this xD On rooted stock ROM. Tried regular method didn't work, but it worked via the Shell WM option. So far no crashes or issues except for some abnormality in the default dailer app (but that's not your fault I know :P) Incredible app and effort. I shall test gaming performance and keep you updated =) Thanks for the awesome app!!!
On the build MTC19X (July2016) for Nexus 6P and attempting to use DPI changer, however, after booting, the phone cannot get past the initial boot screen with the Google logo and unlocked boatloader symbol. Are you aware of any changes that have happened surrounding the build.prop file? I have attempted to use all methods advised in the FAQ

Had to use VM though but it worked, currently using 520 on Galaxy Note 4. === Edit: it jumped from 5 stars to 3 stars because when I need to change from default 640 DPI to 320 I had to restart twice to get to the effect because the slider is limited on lowest and highest from the middle number and typing in manually still didn't work will either jumped to the end of the slider of available number. Please make the manually type in work or make the slider number more variable.
