Nanoleaf Smarter Series

Every time this app is updated, it creates issues with existing connections with devices and always requires a factory reset. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Alexa has never been able to apply scenes through voice commands and has only ever been able to turn the device on, off, or adjust the brightness. Honestly the Aurora belongs in the trash for how much grief it has given me.

I really love the nanoleaf aurora, but I just received a notification for a firmware update and even though I can manually then aurora on, it doesn't connect to my phone anymore and I can't update it :(

App très bien faite, facile à utiliser. Comporte quelques petits bugs encore, mais rien de bien méchant. Il manque de pouvoir préciser les jours pour les évènements, et non juste avoir des évènements journaliers ou hebdomadaires...

These lights are incredible. The way we illuminate our world will be one of the most substantial changes to our near-future. Looks like Nanoleaf just got things started! Amazing product, phenomenal App. Combined with Google Assistant, I'm more of a nerd to my friends and family than ever. Good news for you, I've sold about 20 people on them in 48 hours. Enthusiasm is dangerous! I'll have Toronto sold out in no time.

Amazing lights but has massive connection issues... Spent the last hour simply trying to pair device. Downloading new scenes works about 30% of the time and when it doesn't work it breaks the connection again. :(

Everytime app updates, the two lights gets merge as one on the app, forces me to re-pair everytime. Very annoying! Please write better software.

Great product but taking it back due to the app. Why is it so hard to pair?

The latest update broke my connection to my leaf and app force closes when I try to re-pair the device. Love the product but this needs to be fixed asap before mass frustration from customers.

Product is awesome, but the app has big flaws... Download new scenes, telling me that the Aurora isnt reachable but at the end the scene is in the Aurora... Trying to upload my own scene, some times it works some not. Connection with Google Home works some times...

The new app version takes forever to connect to devices, and overall usability it's worse then the previous version. I don't understand why you made it more difficult to edit the orientation of the device and quickly tweak the settings of the active scene.

App has tons of usability which is a bonus save for the complicated operating nature of it. Great but takes some time!

App needs work. Clunky and awkward

The app crashes the second I submit my wifi info to connect to my Nanoleaf Aurora.

A little hard to connect at times but once you're connected its any amazing app!

Easy to use.

The lights are great. The user interface could use some fine-tuning. It would be great if you could preview colors on the lights while you're choosing color pallettes for different scenes. Currently you have to just guess what the colors will look like, and of you want to change or remove a color, you have to exit and make an entirely new pallets and scene. It's a frustrating guessing game.

Used to be a nice product. Now they send double sided tape instead of 3m removable tabs so expect damage to wall if changing designs. App used to work but now will no longer connect. Alexa support still works so it's the app not the network.

App needs an update desperately, It will only stay connected to my phone for about 5 minutes. once my screen turns off it disconnects completely. Pretty annoying.

I thought I would end up returning this. Own a ton of hue bulbs and use Echo for connected house. In less then a week Nanoleaf has become my absolute favorite purchase. Spend hours just watching them change with music. They light up when Alexa responds and makes it look like the wall is alive and talking. No one can pass by without needing to talk to the lights and watch them repond. It outshines hue as a statement piece by a mile and after a few set up trouble shooting tips it had remained connected with problems.

Overall awesome product and excellent statement piece for the living room. Setup was quick and easy (took about 3 minutes from downloading the app to seeing the scene come alive), and the panels just work once connected. Preview function on the app could work more intuitively for fine tuning, but already-designed scenes are ready to use right out of the box and gorgeous. 10/10 would buy again!

Cool product but the controller and app are utter garbage. I have a 0.1‰ success rate getting connected.

App still feels as if it's in beta. Schedules dont seem to work from day to day on my stable network but always works on Demand via the app and Alexa.

The connection for LTE is not good

This is the first smart home app I found to be solid in every way. Totally the best smart lighting I own.

You'll get more stars once it can maintain a connection for more than 5 minutes.

Help!!!! Schedules is still broken!!!

I love my nanoleaf aurora

I bought 2 nanoleaf they use to work fine for me for an older version and after the new update they did couple of months I can't connect to it on my phone I tried many reset to factory default they work only for couple of minutes and even I did factory reset to my router witch I have many home automation in my house it takes me hours to set up everything again with no luck... I am using Android pixel XL and Samsung tablet same on all my Android devices at home .....plz fix asap it's a firmware and software issue ...:(

This has to be the buggiest app to go with these lights. It's mind-blowing. How can you guys release something that refuses to connect to the damn app 95% of the time. Can't even enjoy my overpriced splurge, now. Fix these connectivity issues. Disgraceful.

Worked for 3 days now won't connect at all. Won't find the lights again either after resetting everything. Update. Finally got it to find the device.. if this becomes a weekly thing they will be returned

Refuses to pair the Aurora to my network, despite my network being compatible with the mandatory set of wifi requirements from 2009

Love how customizable the lights are with the app. I'm a huge fan. Rhythm is sick.

Though my wifi says it is has an IP address, the software frequently does not see the device. I have to unplug it and plug back in for software to see.

The older version of the app was much better and easier to navigate. Love the product though.
