Lol i guess you guys are aware that Uber is your competitor and even after that you thought of raising your prices higher than them. This is legit stupidity. Uber has been in The GTA market for a while and to be better than them decrease your prices or you will have less business compared to Uber. I got no business yet just saying as a consumer......
Gps sent driver to wrong location. Couldnt cancel without a fee. Trip ended up costing almost twice as much. Better off hailing a cab like a normal new yorker. Would have been faster and cheaper. "Insert explicative here"
Lyft has took my money and has refused to have someone call me to resolve the issue. Instead they have you go to a website put details that does nothing for you. Do not take lyft! Go with Uber at least they give a rat's a$$!
Ive been using lyft for the past 3 to 4 months to go to and fro work. It's been good until recently where the drivers gps take them somewhere else beside the spot where i pin point. Lyft you need to fix you damned pin point system! It's annoying listening to the drivers say "it brought me to the trailer park behind you" it takes time out of my day and makes it harder to get to work in a good mood.
I hate the 200 % up charge because they're busy. I almost forgot their are still taxis in Austin that won't up charge and if any one has this problem I suggest arcade city or fasten.
I used to love the service and would tell anyone to use lyft. But now it cost 3x the normal rate for any ride. I don't know what happened because I can't see paying almost $20 for a ride here when on other services I can pay $5. Hopefully if things change in the future I may return as a customer.
I read alot of reviews. Many of which share my same concern. I realize that Lyft is not responding to the matter. Today and friend and I decided to use "Lyft" to travel approx 2.5 miles a straight shot from one point to another. Reg price about 7bucks. When the Lyft was accepted It was a 15 min wait as the "driver was completing another run. that when the nightmare began. instead of coming after dropping his passenger and coming he literally drove around in a circle for an additional 30 mins. I called and he explained that he was too far away and had no control over selecting the call. I asked well why haven't you cancelled the trip!? He said he shouldn't have too. I said as a courtesy you should have instead of inconveniencing waiting customers. He waited several mins before he cancelled the ride almost a 50 mins wait. I was still charged. Lyfts interface does not make reporting these issues simple. I will email support for a resolve !
Well. The rides have always been good, but tonight after a game, a ride I paid $13 from my house to get to the venue and it was fine. Then they tried to rape me and charge me $52 for the exact same ride back home. No thanks. Won't be using this again. EVER. Their reason was, it was busy and rates are higher..
Very unsatisfied, just know once you enter your payment method there is no way to remove it it is on there forever. So if somebody hacks your account because you stopped using it for a month too bad nothing you can do. Also they have poor customer service and they take forever to respond. Will not be returning.
I am starting to hate Lyft. It's been acting so stupid recently. It will saying it's searching for a driver, when it's already picked I'm for me. Then it will cancel on the driver and find me a new one for what reason I don't know.... yesterday I had 2 drivers pull up for me cause the first guys app didn't tell him it's cancelled it. It's been freezing up on me and more I am fed up. If I could give it negative 100 stars I would
You are the worst app know. You steal money as if a person's bank isn't gonna contact us to let us no. I wouldn't. Recommended this to a rich person either
Pretty meh, the app crashes sometimes. $5 fee if you are not in the car after a minute(no-show), a lyft driver told me if she had no time for customers she would say they're a no-Show. Drivers have been nice it's just the apps accuracy that's a little frustrating.
I like how it gives a price outright instead of how long a ride is. The interface has gotten better and is simple to use. Haven't tried booking a ride in advance, but I like the feature is there.
First off im giving it 3 stars because it charges me before i even get in the lyft, I cancelled a lyft & still was charged its been doing damage to my account... I wish i could file a real life complaint because i need my money straight up
I really like lyft, but sometimes their prices are doubled or tripled so some where you normally go to and pay $10 for is about $29. And that is just ridiculous.
Lyft used to be great. I use Lyft line mostly and ever since the end of 2017 the Line routes have been HORRENDOUS. About 90% of the time it will pick up new riders and double back in the complete opposite direction of mine and other riders' destinations to pick someone up back from where we came from (after we're already well along the route so I'm not talking 2 blocks away--I am talking going 10-15 blocks back in the opposite direction). I otherwise like Lyft and the drivers for the most part but since Line is mostly what I use, this has been a REAL pain in the rear.
Last two attempted rides were terrible. 1. Another passenger stole my ride causing me to wait in queue for another driver. Lyft responded with $5 or $10 credit for issue. 2. Could not get ride during peak time. Lyft representative (Steve), likely felling the heat of the crowd, asked as I arrived whether I had any questions... when I asked if we were to match each consumer to driver, he became verbally defensive and presented a dominant stance by literally confronting me by pressing his belly into me. Very sad marketing Lyft! Waiting, Lyft estimates of wait time were completely inaccurate and unacceptable. Taxis still have better a d proven technology on this situation. First come first serve in a physical line. Really?! Lyft has not solved the peak demand problem?!

Twice in less than a month a driver has lied about arriving to pick me up. This was after speaking to the driver in the phone. The app is fine it's the drivers that are not so good.
I don't understand why my ride is 25 dallors one day 16 dallors one day 18 dallors one day and I catch it every day doesn't make since when I was using uber it was 5 or 6 dallors yall are more the a cab
Because this app refuses to recognize VoiP phone numbers I cannot use the app! I guess because I am not a millenial hipster with an iPhone I don't count! Too bad VoiP numbers work quite well here in Canada I make and receive calls all the time!!
Left has fell off the market...it isn't showing the correct GPS...it isn't even taking my debit card but it will take my credit card. And yes I had the money. Its so unreliable and more expensive then before.Like what happened.
I'm uninstalling. You don't need to connect to my Bluetooth to give me a ride. I don't need whatever cross marketing scam Amp is. And I don't need my battery wasted being Bluetooth connected to your driver. Seriously...
Too expensive! I'll pick a cheaper alternative next time
This app is messed up it doesn't show correct address and time schedule is wrong, I can't get a lyft driver to pick me up even tho he's standing right next to me
my only issue with this service is the prices jump up and down Instead of being one set price once you enter the location on which you are going
New lyft line is chaos. Too many people being picked up before first ride is dropped. Too much time in car for riders, too far off course for pickups.
Mapping and ETA are the worst. Pricing is bad...oftentimes it's 40-50% more expensive than uber. Using lyft line is the worst. It ends up taking me far out of the way to pick up other riders (+15 min)and then goes out of the way to drop them off first when my destination is closer (+10 min)
Uber is more efficient, and cost less. Don't use LYFT. You'll be waiting for a driver for 20 minutes that just doesn't move and be forced to cancel.
Feature needed! Allow customers to select drivers within a certain range. Took someone to Ohare in Chicago to drop off friend. He needed a ride back to Rockford but the lyft system wouldn't allow him to select me as driver even though he was standing right next to me - we tried everything even matching destinations! I ended up losing $80. lyft lost the fee. Passenger was disappointed.
Expensive I Dont recommend lyft to nobody unless you have to make it a last minute option
Charged an unfair fee because they charged the authorization amount too low.
I used to love this app, but for some reason my fare rates have almost doubled over the last 2 weeks. I've been using lyft for awhile now. I'll change my rating once this gets figured out or i may have to switch back to uber and see what's cheaper
I can't even set it up. Declines all my credit cards.
It sucks the navigation is horrible and the when you try to get a ride they bounce you off to another driver like 4 to 5 times and they never get it right
One minute it takes my card the next it won't take the same card I'm done with it taking it off my phone today

Fast easy to use cheaper than uber. Wish they rewarded customers who's been with them

This app is the worst. Uber is way better then Lyft. Lyft charges me $21 for a trip that I always take, while uber charges me $8 for the same ride. Estimator is no good and drivers take a long time. And then cancel without showing up. Why am I taking a 10 mile drive but the distance is 3 miles. Not even on the Lyft line. Smh wouldn't recommend
