Connect2SQL: A SQL Client for Android
Worse than dealing with just sketchy connections, the app still has those but also now you can't move the quick keys anymore. Do not download until this guy figures it out! Looks like the app was abandoned.
It has all the makings of a great app and does have all the functionality I want. Usability on the other hand is horrible. The main gripes are 1. Having to reauthenticate every time I switch back to this app and no ability to switch the behaviour off or change to require authentication by a timeout value. 2. It doesnt remember the font size I choose and resets on every query, 3. Forgets which page of results I was on when I return to the app from another and goes back to the first page of results and 4. Needing to go to a menu for each incremental increase in font size rather than a more standard two finger stretch and pinch to control size or perhaps just let me choose a size by value and remember it. It's a shame as a good, functional app is so frustrating to use. There is also a bug where 'select * from table' will show booleans as '1' regardless of value.
Error: could not connect... , unexpected end of stream read 0 bytes of 4. I tried to connect to Google Sql. What happened? edit need to grant access to the ip from google dev console.
Wish I didn't have to type in my queries. Should have some standard select all queries pre set but it gets the job done. Thanks
So far, nothing to complain about, connected to Amazon Redshift, too. I don't see how to change the lock key though...
Not what I expected, I can't edit directly on the table view. It's like the command line with some colors.
I don't like start password, could you please add a switcher to close it?
Do you have SSH tunneling option?
Still needs a browsable tree for tables so I don't have to write a query just to view all contents of a table
Should have ssh options
This is easily the best SQL client for Android
You shouldn't be able to save queries with the same name and the first row doesn't always have to be sticky. Other than that, this is a great app, I hope it can keep on improving. Great work, man!
I guve it 5 not because itd perfect its because it is simply best out there of course if you want to connect without ssl. Tables look can be improved a simple text editor which opens up full screen on clicking on records seems very practical
I was gonna refund it, but the app looks really good. It's totally unusable for me though, because I need SSL on with the ability to trust a non-root certificate. UPDATE: reached out to developer and haven't heard back after 2 months.
Needs ssh
It would be much better if you give the option to assign password to open the app, because is to dangerous having the connection for all my servers without security.
I'd give 5 stars if there was an option to connect through SSH
UI is very hard to use, please make it look like HeidiSQL
I really need something like this , but this app needs finishing, it should show you a tree of all your entities at least , some of my databases have hundreds of stored procedures ditto tables and views and its a big ask to remember all the names'
SSL connection required for plugin 'mysql_clear_password'. Check if "useSSL'is set to true. Where can i enable ssl ?
Best SQL client app I have tried so far, definitaly going to stick with it for now. BUT: desperately need to option to directely edit data in the table/grid view. Right now I have to write raw SQL statements to change a specific column of a soecific datarow, would be much more convinient if I could tap the field, edit what's in there and it gets updated on the server. 5 stars once that has been added!
I'd give 5 stars if there was an option to connect through SSH
So close to being the best.
Can connect to sql server, see databases, but can't see tables. This is a new problem. Was a great app, but not useful now. Will update rating when fixed to see tables again.

Works great for me and the UI is nice and intuitive.
good
Cannot connect to my databases. Cryptic error messages. No help file. No example connection parameters. No email responses. Have I wasted my money? The fault may be mine, but I need help, and I'm not getting any.
I wanted to donate but the fact that I lose all my settings (servers and saved queries) makes this a total regret to me. Please fix this.
I like this app a lot. Three things to improve it: 1) retain settings between free and paid versions, 2) add setting to display SQL Server system catalog tables for DBAs and 3) I couldn't tell the difference between the versions in Applications when both were installed. Nice job! Love the quick SQL command entry.
I got the paid version as a way of voting for (1) csv export and (2) csv import. Hopefully both can accommodate line1 headers on/off and comma/tab field delimiters. Thanks for a great app!
Allows connection to server, without specific database! Nice query builder.
I would like also to have some kind of formulars available in order to easily update or insert new data.
Great but please add SSL
Fast, intuitive and does it all well
Fantastic enough

After the recent update, I realized the quick key no longer available right above the keyboard. This will create lots of inconveniences. Now I have to 'tap' more or I would rather type the snippets or the operators myself. This has indeed make me give the rating 2. Hopefully you can resume the quick key that previous reside right above the keyboard
