Fitly Walking Tracker for Android
Using your phone’s built-in GPS, Fitly tracks any outdoor activity, such as walking, running or cycling. To conserve battery life, Fitly automatically turns the GPS off when you are not active, for example when at home or at work.
Fitly gives you an overview of all your daily activity, including duration, distance, speed and calories burned. Moreover, Fitly is great for tracking your improvement over time using charts showing your activity by day, month or even year.
While Fitly stores location data on your phone to enable you to view your workouts on a map, no location data is ever uploaded or shared with anyone. We take your privacy seriously.
Moreover, Fitly allows you to choose from 11 fitness levels and gives you a quick overview of how you’ve been doing so far today, so you can see at a glance how much is left to achieve your daily goal.
Unlike other sports trackers, Fitly offers an uncluttered user interface geared towards minimalism and does not try to overwhelm you with lots of unnecessary features.

Please note: Due to the vast number of different Android devices, we cannot guarantee that Fitly will function flawlessly on your handset. However, Fitly has been tested extensively with a number of popular phones and should work well for most users. It is still early days for Fitly and we will strive to make the app better over time. If you’d like to help us improve the app, please send us feedback on your experience using Fitly to feedback@fitly.me.
Appears to have 1 issue - it appears to spike the max speed when merging 2 walking history records together at the point of the merge!
This maybe a good app but for whatever reason its reading I'm in Denver im in Arizona the farthest from Denver. Ive looked it settings turned off then on my GPS but still nothing.
Maps are great. I've found problems with the program giving me fitness points for public transport and driving.
Keeps asking me to turn wi fi on. Even though GPS on very annoying but good ap.
Keeps asking to turn on wifi even in manual mode. Tracking is not really that good. In auto walk about .25 miles before starting to track. Sorry but uninstall.
But some times it is not tracking continuously..
This app makes walking the dog more of a challenge
Disappointed that it stopped tracking when I stopped to video during my walk. Three times!
Need to add the step counter that should make 5 star
I just go about my business and this app keeps track of when, where and how far I walk. I don't even have to think about it. It just does it. Feels like magic. My only quibble is I wish I could set a weekly instrad of a daily goal. My daily goals vary but they add up to the same weekly distance.
Nexus 4 repeated crashes. Uninstalled.
Nice but no maps!? Constant reminders and constantly on is a problem.
Easy to use very good app
Easy to use.
Drains battery
It told it has stopped when I wasent even playing it
really easy to see progress

I love this app especially as I don't need to remember to turn it on and off and it seems to work on a simple concept but so clever. There is a vehicle filter in the settings and I've had not problems so far with it tracking me whilst using public transport. I just wish it was possible to export data onto my PC or say where you wanted it stored.
