Viewing Instagram feeds from other Ambient users in your immediate area gives you a whole new way to explore your immediate environment and learn about the people and places around you.

Ambient requires all users to login with Facebook, but does not post to any Facebook account. Instead, Ambient encourages users to connect via their Instagram account and uses location services to locate other nearby users. Ambient works even when the app is in the background.

Battery life is important, so we've carefully optimized for battery efficiency. As with any app that use location services, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
