GPS Taximeter SD

GPS-Taximeter-SD program is designed to work both standalone mode and Dispatch System mode of Taxi Company.

For standalone work mode Android smartphone version 2.2 and higher with 5 Mb of free memory is required.

For taximeter tickets printing on paper a portable Bluetooth printer may be used (ESC/POS compatible command system).

For Dispatch System work mode an Android smartphone with GPS-Taximeter-SD program and mobile Internet are required (one kit per car). Dispatch computer must be equipped with Web browser and connected to Internet.

Main functions in standalone mode:

1. Calculating of taxi trip price;
2. Calculating of taxi downtime price;
3. Adding taxi call price (constant tariff);
4. Setting speed threshold for switching in downtime mode;
5. Simple tariff editing (for current tariff selection go to Tariffs menu, for changing current tariff long press the suitable tariff);
6. On-screen display of final trip result;
7. Ticket printing using Bluetooth printer.

Main functions of Dispatch System (office):
1. Clients orders input in system;
2. Automatic car selection for given order (by minimal trip distance/time to client criteria);
3. Order transfer to driver of selected car;
4. Navigation on the map to the passenger.
5. Trip price calculating and ticket release;
6. Administration of reference data;
7. Generating reports and printing orders and tickets.

Dispatch system configuration:

1. Download minimum one copy of GPS-Taximeter-SD program.
2. Go to http://www.syscom.md/taxi2m/enter.aspx in Help section.
3. Follow Help section instructions.
