Fantastic service staffed by great people. I always feel like I'm getting their attention, and they clearly have a mandate to go the extra mile for patients. This app has saved me any number of visits to the walk-in clinic, and has given me a Canadian doctor in my pocket when I travel abroad. I absolutely recommend this service.

Worth every penny. This app has saved me a few hours already with simple things like referrals for bloodwork and to specialists. They are very attentive and they follow up on each case, which is something most family doctors don't make the time to do.

Guys, this is wild. So good. Sure, a little pricey, but it's genuinely the future of health care. For 150/year j have unlimited access to a doctor or nurse. For almost anything! They give me prescriptions, send me to labs, etc. Without the wait. I never have to take time off work, book times for clinics, etc. Akira, like Spotify or Netflix, is truly a life changing service that is worth every penny. 10/10, 5 Gold Stars, you name it.

This app is amazing! It is a waiting list for family doctors in the capital city and most of them are so overloaded with patients already they don't provide proper care. Akira has saved me a lot of time and money from not missing work to wait in walk-in clinics. They are always polite professional and very helpful!

I can't really make it to my family doctor because I work so far away from him now, and to go I would have to take a day off at work (use vacation or lose pay). Akira worked very well in letting me work while conversing with a doctor. The staff have always been very courteous and helpful. I am very impressed and hope the government looks at this and adds support for this great startup!

I live downtown in Toronto and finding the right family doctor has been a chore that takes time. Akira MD has allowed me to deal with small issues, I would normally use a walk in clinic for, from the comfort of my home. I couldn't ask for a better solution to such a large problem for some of us. My last walk in clinic time was 2.5hrs. My first Akira MD experience was 25mins at home. . Easy decision. Worth every penny.

This app is great. I needed a specialist for my skin and need to renew a prescription monthly. They did a great job and I managed to skip the long line at the walk-in or waiting period to see my family doctor.

I'm on the waiting list for a family doctor so this is a great substitute in the meantime. They were able to refer me to a specialist and for blood tests.

Easy to use app and staff is excellent!

Staff is professional with lots of good ideas.

Ridiculous waste of money. Error made with my referral, sent to a gynecologist instead of a dermatologist for a suspicious looking lesion. Response from someone was "I'm going to end the conversation" extremely unhappy with this. They provided nothing that warrants charging a fee.

Long overdue!

Katrina doesn't know how to properly answer questions. You're left confused, like do you guys prescribe this or not? This app is not good for mental health meds. They don't prescribe them!

I recommend this app to anyone who lives in a remote area with not easy access to a doctor.

I really love this app. Yes you need to pay but when you think of all the time lost at walk in clinics or even doctors offices it is worth the money. They are very professional and personable. And they allow you to discuss more than one issue which walk ins don't usually allow. I am happy I signed up.
