MBCB - Simple Checkbook

I absolutely love this app. Easy to use. Does exactly what I need it to do. A word for Galaxy S7 users: I upgraded phones and could not figure out how to access this app's "clean up" and backup feature. Then, by accident, I learned that menu is accessed by holding down the phone's back button.

This is by far the best option out there for a simple check book ledger. Nothing fancy. Super efficient app to keep track of your account balances. If I have one recommendation, it would be to add a "search" feature

Great app. Would be nice to be able to move a transaction from one account to another, when I've posted it to the wrong account. I wonder if anyone else ever does that?

Very dependable app. Used a long time. Quick and simple. I would pay for an app that I can put on sd card. And take app and data with me to a new phone.

Not sure if there are plans to update the app, but so far it has everything I need except a Calculator :( I'd like to be able to add/subtract.

I would like to delete an account and can't figure out how. I do like the simplicity, and that I can edit the amounts after they are entered.

Simple checkbook register with NO pesky ads. After downloading and trying dozens of apps, this is the one I kept. One improvement would be to add a check number field that could be selected/ticked to automatically increment the number when paper checks are written. Thanks Mike!

This is the best check register I've found on Android. I think I tried them all. I had to keep taking my iPod with me just to use the check register app I had there. Finally found this and have retired my iPod. My only gripe, there should be a check number field that is separate from the memo field and it would be super convenient if it would auto-increment when tapped. That would earn the 5th star. -Update: minor inconveniences - inability to print or search. Still feel it warrants 4 stars, though.

I love this app, but for some odd reason the little tool to transfer from one account to another is missing. Pls help! I don't want to have to find another app!

I love the simplicity of this app. I'm not forced to enter categories and labels and all sorts of things. Only had it a short time bit so far it's the best check book app I have found. Thank you!

Unable to locate recurring transactions since last update, to update them... If there is a way, please tell me how.

What Happened to the options button? It disappeared from the previous version.

This app is exactly what I wanted. Simple and easy to use. There is not a lot of extra junk that bogs it down. The backup and restore is quite useful. Love the simple layout. Great job.

I upgraded to note 5. Some features missing. ..needs update.

Was great with my old phone. With a new phone, though, the options are not available. Can't even set it to have more recent items at the top.

I spent a lot of time looking for a simple app that I could check off what had cleared and what hasnt. This app is exactly what I was looking for. The "Cleared Balance" and "Future Balance" is perfect and I was suprised it didn't come with all the other fancy apps. I will be sticking with this app from now on.

Upgraded to the s6 edge plus and now I'm missing alot of features that I used most sort oder is gone transfers is gone and the list goes on

Worked awesome on iPhone and HTC but NO options what so ever on Galaxy S5.

Needs update to include newer phones. I have used this product in the past and loved it, but it Ned's update to work properly on note 5

Can add accounts but other features do not work on Samsung S5 Active. Need to be updated to include all the advertising features.

This app is great except that there are no notifications for recurring transactions. If the developer would add notifications and categories for transactions, it would be perfect. I love that there are NO ADS and of course, it's FREE!!! It appears as though there have been no updates to this app since 2013 though

Tried a few bank books but this one is the best I've seen

I have had to correct the bank with this ledger.

Does not work will not let you set starting balance

I like the app. It is simple and easy to use. The scheduled transactions are excellent. Would give 5 stars if it had customizable categories and exportable expense report to keep track of spending. Would gladly pay to have these options.

Its a great app if you want something that stops working and makes you start all over. It worked great for the first while then crashes my phone when trying to use. If you need something reliable find something else.

I had used another app for years and got a Samsung Galaxy S5 recently and the app no longer worked properly. Many other S5 users complained and begged for help, but none of us received any response or support. I uninstalled it and have been looking for a great checkbook app and found yours. I am thrilled so far with your app and love the setup. Please tell me this is not a trial version :-) Thanks for keeping it simple and organized.

I've been using another one for years that I thought was great, but this one is better! Can not only schedule occurrences for deposits and payments but can also schedule transfers between accounts. I'm switching for good.

Love it but need to fix password protect, set and still can get in without using password

No idea how to use it. Don't see any option to add a recurring transaction and can't find any help option.

simple and easy to use. Does the job well with no adds. only criticisim is that i dont seem able to change the currency from dollars..... not that it really matters.

Does what I need. Schedlued transactions and multiple accounts. I tried a bunch of these checkbook apps, and thisa is the one that came out on top for me. Quite pleased.
