Wifi Tethering Widget for Android
It doesn't turn WiFi back on when you turn off tethering. So you have to manually go into phone settings and turn WiFi back on if you want to connect to wireless networks. Which is a bit crap.
Its just show that app is installed but doesnt show the icon in my mob xolo q2000
Note-4 SM-N910T on T-Mobile, Android v6.0.1. Flat out did not work. I added the widget to my desktop, launched it, configured it. But tapping the widget does ZERO. Doesn't open anything; doesn't toggle anything. Doesn't even change icon color. Meh. Off to the bit bucket with you, WiFi Tethering Widget!
Finaly found one working with single tap on Galaxy S7. Not a shortcut! Its really on/off hotspot. Im traveling a lot and using my phone as internet source for my laptop. This is what i was searching for. Single tap :)
I installed it as instructed, and I got the widget to the desktop but it never did anything after that
The only problem is that a have to pay thing because idk
Have had this on every single phone&tablet I've owned for the least few years...definitely a must!
Tried about 5 of these before this one. This was the only one that did anything. Galaxy. Thanks.
Simple... Exactly what I wanted in features, but unfortunately it doesn't work on my Galaxy S7
Works just like it should.
As simple, as it can get. Works on nVidia Shield Tablet with Lollipop 5.0.1.
Doesn't work
Like the idea, but widget never appeared..
Samsung galaxy s6
The only problem is that a have to pay thing because idk
Works as described. Homtom ht5pro. One touch to enable the hotspot.
Only one to actually work on S7
Tried quite a few others that were meant to do the same as this and they all failed. Well done and I like the fact that it reminds you if your Mobile Data isn't switched on at the same time, as this is obviously required before you can use the phone as a Data Access point. Thanks...I can stop looking now.
I turned it on then i went to Instagram and it didn't let me refresh me feed. The last post said 2hours ago. Then I tried going on youtube and it wouldn't let me comment. I then went to my settings, then WiFi to check if I was connected to that wifi source. I was connected and I know because it said the WiFi was off and to turn it back on I would have to turn off the app WiFi. I don't get this thing
After testing 3 I found one that works. It would be awesome if the wifi returned after having a phone call, than i would give 5 stars.
Stupid. Peace. a crap charged me a buck fifty for a license and now it won't do nothing but take up space on my home screen an make me MAD. Please. Somebody fix this worthless thing PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(The install does appear to go cleanly. Oh well.)
I tried several other widgets, but they didn't work with Marshmallow (Android 6.0)
Soooooo.. after using for some time, the app want you to purchase a licence to remove the pop-up. UGH! Cmon... good app though...
First one that I could find that works on android 5.1. easy to setup and works!
Bs app went to my widget to install and it wasn't even there.
Dosent even let me open it up no type of short cut or nun tf
Does nothing on my Nexus 6.
because of pop up
Very simple... Great apps
Great
I installed it and created a widget on my new samsung note edge which is almost similar to note 4. But as usual my carrier was asking me to subscribe for a hotspot access. How to overcome the subscription.
Simple and functional!
Not bad
Speeds up the annoying process of turning trathering on and off.
On my Nexus 5 this works exactly as expected, just a simple on/off of an already configured tethering connection.
Both turning on tethering, and restoring wifi after.
Love it
It often doesn't turn WiFi back on when tethering is disabled. So you have to manually go into phone settings and turn WiFi back on if you want to connect to wireless networks.
