We should always read and study the Holy Bible because it is our God's Word to us. According to the holy scripture, the Bible is literally "God-breathed" [ 2 Timothy 3:16 ]. In other words, it's God's very own words to us.

We should consistently read & study the Bible because this is what our God wants us to feed on as our spiritual food. Similarly, we are given assurance that God's Word is true when it discusses spiritual areas that we cannot test with our senses by showing itself true in those areas that we can test, such as historical accuracy, scientific accuracy, and prophetic accuracy.

Reading the Bible is a way Christians receive communication from God. Like checking your e-mail or voice mail for messages, the Bible is where God allowed some of His thoughts to be written down for us to learn from Him.
