Allah menciptakan mereka dari cahaya. Mereka menyembah Allah dan selalu taat kepada-Nya, mereka tidak pernah berdosa. Tak seorang pun mengetahui jumlah pasti malaikat, hanya Allah saja yang mengetahui jumlahnya.
