Sync iTunes to android - Pro for Android
Seemed to work OK, but would only sync first 1000 songs from a couple of large play lists. Tried a play list of exactly 1000 songs and it synced only 938, no explanation! NO SUPPORT! Tried several times via their website (allows email contact only!) No response! USELESS !
Used to be great, but now I have to resync every song on my phone just to add one new song. Who decided that was more efficient? Smh. And if you dont have a continous strong wifi it cuts out and you have to start all over again. Go back to old system!
Worked great with LG G6. Unfortunately phone was defective and returned, replaced with Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Android 7 Nougat. Does not work at all well with GS7. Constantly gives error message and stops sync. So far it has taken 3 1/2 hours to sync 64 songs. Don't waste your money or valuable time if you have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Android 7.0
Unfortunately when syncing, the window will tell you 5 or 10 songs to sync depending on how many new have been added but will literally go through your entire library every singe time! Absolutely ridiculous! Do not recommend this product!!!
I bought Pro. It's complicated, the instructions are tech-y and I just donated $3.00 to a company. Don't get it. It's as hard to figure out as figuring out how to move your music with a free method. I pay money when I think the app will make something easier to do. This doesn't.
It probably works fine if you only have a few songs to sync, but I have over 30 Gigs of music, so it takes a long time. This, by itself, isn't a problem. The trouble is that if I add a single playlist, with, say only 20 songs, it still takes hours to sync. It seems to be copying songs that have already been synced (which is a lot of songs). It knows to skip some of them, but it needs to skip a lot more. On top of that, the Mac interface is a bit clunky. I can see all the playlists that I've asked it to sync, but they're in the order that I added them, rather than alphabetical order, which would make it easier to find them. So it makes managing my playlists a lot more work than it should be. That said, it gets the job done.
The app never works, I purchased it about a year or so ago and it still has yet to sync one song. I've contacted the developers and have yet to hear anything back. This is honestly the very first bad review I've ever written
I have an old Galaxy 3 that won't quit, and I wanted to turn it into a .mp3 player. This excellent app had me synching my iTunes to my Samsung android in a minute. Very happy!
There is no support for this app. Ive written them 10 times with no response. My issue is that every time i add a playlist to be synced, Synctunes will re-sync all of my playlists. It makes the process super long + it impacts my monthly download limit on home internet.
Finally, an app that syncs iTunes to android and seems to work! I was a little wary of some of the negative reviews but I can confirm this works and is well worth the £2.39 (UK) purchase price. Many thanks to the developer for doing a great job! :-)
Yeah.... not quite. This app is not very good. I don't know if it actually works but I did try to use it. One thing is that it just sits there on "Scanning files to sync... please wait...." NO STATUS OR ANYTHING... just sits there. THEN if you close the app, good luck finding it again because it doesn't actually create a shortcut in the start menu at all. Apparently they just think that throwing a shortcut on my desktop is all I want. I couldn't restart it and had to find it before I realized it was cluttered in the mess on my desktop. BUT the worst part is that it just syncs nothing. Absolutely nothing. Enjoy my $3 because that's all you'll ever get from me. Where's that refund button?
It's great when you're on a private wifi, HOWEVER, if you are a college student, and on a college wifi, you will not be able to sync anything. I recently got some new music on iTunes, and wanted to sync up a new playlist and my new songs, but to my irritation, was not able to, since I am on my college's WiFi (which, however, is private, since I have my own account set up through the provider). It just frustrates me that I cannot sync my library up to my phone from my own dorm, but have to travel across campus to the library (which, for some reason I can use, even though it's the school's official WiFi), which is a huge hassle if it's the middle of the night and want to listen to new music while taking a shower. I am willing to change my rating if this is fixed, because otherwise synctunes is great. Only other issue is for some reason, after syncing up last time, all my album art got mixed up, as I'm pretty sure Ariana Grande doesn't sing "FYI (I Wanna F Your A").
Tried the free trial, seemed OK, bought the pro and now constantly crashes, and it seems to interfere with our WiFi which "drops" each time I use this software.
Transferred most of my music ok but it stripped off album and artist information making it very difficult to search my music.
(Wifi macbook to galaxy s4 iTunes library /playlists old review)...still love app transfer now from msi gaming laptop to Nexus 6p:):)
It stopped syncing my playlists. Sent a couple of emails to support and no one has gotten back to me.
Works great, but it takes forever to scan the files to sync. It would be nice if it was automatic, like every time you added a song to a playlist it would automatically add it to your phone. But it does the job fairly well as long as you have time to sync it
Syncing to Samsung G7 edge. Took about 45 mins to sync about 580 tracks with a virus scan at the same time in the background. So far really good but reading some of the reviews not every one is finding the same. Five stars just now.
Tried every method of transfering my large iTunes library that has 10 playlists over. Used to use a program called iSyncr but it randomly lost functionality, and to be honest it just wasn't a well made program to begin with. This one however is exactly what it should be. It's fairly quick, very easy to use, and does exactly what it should without any hassle. The majority of complaints in this review section are just people who don't understand really basic things so they blame their confusion on the app. It works on the most up to date iTunes version as of Nov 7th 2017 and works on my LG G4 as well as Samsung Galaxy S6 both updated to the newest firmware. My only complaint is very minor, but the devs should find a way to automatically ignore ".mp3" at the end of song titles. 4/5ths of my library is (SongName).mp3 while the remaining 1/5 is properly named. Not a big deal though, the extension doesn't interfere with ordering or searching.
So, I got a new phone and was curious if there's a way I can transfer the app without having to play agin?
This app does sync up my new music, really frustrating.
This app is definitely the bomb, it syncs your iTunes library songs to Android...what an awesome app it is. I recommend this app for everyone that wants to sync their iTunes music to Android.
Can not get a response from developer very disappointed
App synced songs well however, after syncing my metadata are not showing like album year and track number on my phone..
BEST EVER ITUNES TRANSFER APP, 100% TRANSFER RESULT. EXCELLENT JOB, SO HAPPY.
Solid job at syncing itunes playlist on Android and the developer created an immediate patch that resolved connecting to itunes after the latest itunes update.
This app is totally awesome. I have the Galaxy Note 8 and I synced over 1,000 songs. It is extremely user friendly.
This app works well and keeps itunes and by android phone in sync.
A waste of money.
Slow but I like it!!!!
Excellent and easy to use. I was told by an apple "guru" that it was not possible. Well worth it !!!

Original Review Date 9/14/17 I've been using this app for years and never had an issue until today. I upgraded iTunes to version 12.7.0.166 and now I'm getting a bug error. I've reported it to the devs. I'll return and give an accurate rating if this gets fixed. Return Review Date 9/18/17. As promised, with slight delay for hurricane cleanup, I am back to amend my review. I just loaded my laptop and the Sync iTunes app and the update was indeed present and worked like a jewel. This is honestly the easiest fix to an issue I've had.....well the 2nd easiest but the other one was my fault completely. Rating amended and a major thanks for the swift reply and fix.
