Talking SMS and Caller ID Free

The thing I liked about this app is that it worked ... except for group message replies. I send messages to my two dog walking partners and they reply. Even though I see their names individually via text, they are NOT announced. However, IF I send an individual message I will hear their name on a reply. Since Android breaks out the names in text, it should be possible to do it for this voice announcement. That was the main reason I wanted it in the first place. But it is still a good app. So far the best one I have tried for my purposes.

Wow what a fantastic app! I was not expecting this I thought it was a very basic! which it is but it does so many things like speak incoming callers whoever they may be and it also speaks incoming text messages! Very clearly so I would highly recommend this app for any person with a cell phone! Lol May God!! bless you all & enjoy take care!

Does this work for Galaxy s6.... I think I wasted my data and time. When I go for that option to send them my email and questions, it doesn't go. When I go for the option 'go online', it isn't working either. When I GO FOR THE OPTION FOR WHICH I GOT IT FOR, NOTHING. Can someone from this app please help me. Wise people once said 'curiosity killed a cat'.... I can confess that I became that cat.

Having used Samsung Note, I got used to Driving Mode, which reads out the caller name and the alarm label with time. This App has filled half the void with caller name read out. But need to fix the name being announced when an incoming call is turned silent. Once in a theatre I muted the incoming call as soon as it rang, but to my embarrassment the App announced 'Incoming call from Xxxx' three times. This should be fixed immediately. Also would like to suggest the alarm label and time read out feature.

Love This App. It's great for people on the go and for people that drive so that they can keep your eyes on the road and not on the phone safety first. drive now text later. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up

Been using this app for years and love it! It's soo convient to just have your texts read aloud. Especially when my phone is across the room or in my purse. I don't have to get up to check it! Just flip it over or shake it in your bag to get it to shut up quickly if needed.

I have been looking for something like this. My husband has this app on his phone. I wanted it so that I know who is texting or who is calling me especially if I am away from my phone I'll know who it is. I am giving it a five star rating. Good job Google Play

It is Not silencing when I silent the ring tone. If we are in meetings, conferences, seminars, we silent the call when any calls comes by pressing the volume key. Then the ring tone will get silent, but it is not getting silent. It is continuously saying the name even if the ringtone is silent. It would be great if this problem is resolved. Pls resolve it

Works well. No complaints. Android 4.4.4. Some announcer apps I have tried FC a lot or don't talk after a while. It would be good if it announced battery low or if its charging or full.

this is so worth all the effort, you customize the text messages coming in that aren't in your contact list. adjustable volume control and which alerts you want to be read aloud!

I like knowing who is calling and texting without looking at or picking up my phone. I lowered the rating because more frequently it's not announcing the caller/text. It WAS 5 stars.

Had this on my old. phone, galaxy ace3, worked well, voice ok, put it on my new s5 neo, and the voice is poor, very robotic, does not pronouce names very well. Can't see why jt be worse wyth a newer app and phone!

Works great for me and knowing who is calling when I can't get to my phone or I am driving is a great aid. 5 stars from me! No complaints so far its doing what I hoped it would. Without any issues so far and how much can you expect when it is FREE!!! I'm very pleased. :)

Because we I kept my mobile at charging I want to sleep listing call r SMS I ignored some not special for me. I catch my lovely calls

Won't pause my TuneIn Radio Pro, so many times I can't understand both @ same time ... another program did THIS correctly, but changed my volume and offered fewer options ... still trying to make it work right

This is the only call announcer that I could find that kind of works with Huawei Mate 2, BUT it's annoying that it doesn't pause or lower the volume of the ringtone. It also does NOT speak the number or do anything with a caller not in your contacts.

My only problem with this is for certain contacts it won't say name for sms even though I there is a name in the contacts. Other than that, is a great app.

This app is great, I love it so much, but I'm unable to download the full version, what I always got is 'this app is currently not available' wen I'm try to download the full version.

Last updated 2013, so don't know I'd it's abandonedware. Same for the full version 2013, that's 4 years without any updates, did the author pass away?

It stop working after killing of background apps and does not start automatically to announce caller name while incoming calls.

Have my hands full a lot. Can't grab phone to see who is calling. This app is great as it tells me who is calling and I can decide to answer or not. I use it with my ZTE Lever and have had no trouble with it so far. Do wish it would say number calling if not in my contacts as it may be a number I do know that just isn't in my phone.

Suddenly stopped working when phone is looked. Only works now when screen is active. Unable to submit via report a fault. Love this app so please resolve

This app is really convenient. I wish it would call out caller ID, not just numbers from my contact list.

This is the very good app for me and useful. Whenever I get some SMS on that time without touch my phone I understand who send me. overall its good

There are times when it doesn't announce who is texting me. Not consistent.

Works great. Be nice if it had a silent list that you could add some numbers to or some callers to when you wish not to receive calls from 1 number ALL of the time.

I don't know if it's my phone's update or the app's but I don't like the new lowest bass voice. I'd rather just have a male's voice. Otherwise no issues and I like I can customize a name for numbers not in my phone book.

Works well but now and then it just stops working you have to reopen the app and reset

So far it works . let's me know who calling however it shuts off during the day and will not tell you who's calling so I'm waiting on them to fix that bug

The announcement stops a lot and I have to open the app and close it to make it go back to announcing my incoming calls and texts. Fix this and you'll deserve five ★s.

The only notifier that is CONSISTENT and does not bog down memory because you can store it on your external memory. A plus is adding info to unknown callers {i have it saying SOME YAHOO IS TRYING TO REACH U}

It's great when it works. Reads out who is calling or texting you.

The app is great but every now and again it stops working. Tempted to only give it a three. If it worked all the time I would consider a 5

It's great if you are screening your calls just listen to who's calling. You don't have to get up to look at the phone.

I used it easy thank u so much but need to improve in my cherry mobile.

Time will tell. Have had other apps that did the same thing but have since stopped working correctly. I want my texts messages read to me and this is doing it.....

Would be better if when using a Bluetooth headset it would announce name on headset, If that makes it in a future update it'll be a 5

I have downloaded this app for Samsung s3 to the s7 for years now and it is the best free app so I am ready to pay for the full version of this app and use this as my primary ringer for my s7
