Talking SMS and Caller ID full

Sometimes it works good but sometimes it will tell me someone is calling yet no one is and sometimes when someone calls the voice does not work at all.. Quite a few bugs for a paid version

I installed the free version of this app, after trying and being disappointed by many, many others, and found it to be perfect for my needs, even with its limited functionality. I then upgraded to the full version, a few weeks after, with all options, and have had it on my phone for nearly a year now, and it has performed perfectly. I often get comments from business clients and others who hear the spoken alert, and comment how clever it is, and I have referred many people to this brilliant app. I just had the voice change, for no apparent reason, from (Aus) English to US English, and couldn't figure out why, and what to do about it. I emailed the app developer last night, and have just had a response which has helped me correct it. The app uses the android speech engine, and for some reason that had changed during an update. Fixed the Android speech engine, and all is back to normal with the app .. which didn't have a problem anyway. Fantastic app, and a timely response from the developer, for an issue which wasn't even a problem with the app itself. Highly recommend this app to anyone. David

This app tells you who is calling you and it also tells you who is sending a text and, if you want, it will read the text body out loud. I love knowing what my text say without ever picking up the phone and it's great to know if your callers are contacts or someone you don't know. I tried the free ones, they didn't work well. It's worth a little money to get something that's good!

I suspect that the developer has quit supporting the app. I have had this app for years and it just quit working. The support in the app is nonexistent. I clicked on 'more' and 'visit online' and it takes you to an address where 'server not found'. I see many other reviews where they had no response to emails or help requests

App started crashing a lot lately. I've used it for several years and really loved it. Now it keeps crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I'm going to give it another chance. If it doesn't work right, I will use another app for the task. I recommended the app to another person, and, since it's a paid app, I'm going to advise her to hold off for now and maybe recommend a different app.

I like the app alot, my issue is the same where the Privacy matter exist. I have the volume turned down to one, but the message still is very loud. I have to turn my media on my phone completely down so that the texts and calls are not broadcast.

I love that I get to hear my text . If only the voice would call off number by number as opposed to how many trillions and millions there are. Lol. Great app. I decided to forego the adds and pay the $2.99. Sadly, my app doesn't always work. But...I still love it.

Disappointed, I thought the paid version would support my car's bluetooth but it does not, unless I am missing something. Too late now, you got my $$, but it would be great if you added that feature, for now uninstalled and using a free app that does what I need it to do.

After numerous requests for support for the PAID version, I find that they ignore requests for support and broken-features. I wish the Google Play Store were more aware of situations like this and disallow fraudulent apps from appearing on the Play store!

Love this app, making text while driving obsolete in combination with Google voice texting, it's all about safety. I do however have a question..Is it possible to change reader voice from female to male? Can't find on my own and help link not working. Thanks ahead for any help on this

I love the app; however, it stops working at times. I see my SMS light flashing, but no spoken voice. I restart my Samsung Note 2. App conflicting with other application(s).

Best sms and caller ID I have found and I have tried several. Most stop working after a day or two. This one so far so good. I have gallery note 4 so it is not because I have some crumy phone that the others haven't worked. As I said so far so good. We will see.

Due time a update is released? ? ? Sweet app though! Works great! Wish list would be a widget to be able to turn app on and off quickly and would really love if volume matched the phone volume state. Kind of loud during the night when rest of phone is in low volume mode.

(Paid version) I ride a motorbike so its essential that i hear the callers name in my bluetooth headset, through the speaker is no good at all for me, i can't hear it at all while riding my bike. I will rate 5 stars if you implement this feature.

Most of the time the application does not announce the name of the caller or the message sender. If I go into the application and back out it seems to start working for a while then stops again.

My main problem is that I cannot turn it on/off easily. I want this functionality while driving, but not while I am in a meeting at work! Please make a widget etc!!!

Great app! Need a way to totally silence it when you need Silent Mode. The on off or disable does not work. If I want to totally silence it then I have to uninstall it. It used to be totally silenced when I put the volume on 1. I don't know what happened to that feature now you can still hear it. Really needs a Silent Mode.

She or he actually talk and you can also make it happen high or low pitch and then to top it all off you can even make it sounds screwed and chopped hahahahaha. Update, you can also make your own phrase of what you want he/she to say when responding to calls and text....If I here the wrong name I don't answer

I've had a lot of fun with this app. It can sound really Profesional or have a mouth like a truck driver saying rude announcements that definitely shouldn't be heard by children.

Was the best but now about every 3rd call doesn't announce and announces later, by 3 to 5 minutes. Turned off all extra software and did a factory reset with just it installed, still the same...

I really like this application but it's missing the ability to play the alerts only through a bluetooth headset. Also the support log and site don't work for me.

Thanks for all of your hard work. Stopped working on Note 4 also S5 also Stopped after updating? Dose not work with Android marshmallow? Any chance of getting this to work again?

This app worked perfectly on my S4 but having now installed it on my Note 4 it works when it feels like it which isn't very often. Shame as I find it really useful when out and about.

Good features but it takes over 12 seconds before starting to announce. Since most phones go to voice mail in about 20 seconds I miss many calls.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Note 5 comin' in a few days), and this app works great. Very convenient for a Bluetooth & phone combo that's set up for voice commands...This app will announce who's calling and or read the number...The same with text/mms: It'll announce who's texting and read the message... And if you're set up for voice commands you can dictate your reply and never have to touch or look at your phone. I'm a longtime Police Officer and LOVE the convenience since I drive for a living. Still great.

Works very well with Motorola Turbo. Installed without any issues and is simple to use and adjust settings. Does well speaking out English and other language texts.

Its a pretty good app eventhough VLINGO for Blackberry was better. It would be even better if it could be heard through the bluetooth (when wearing one) instead of the message coming through the handset

Program. Is great call out phone numbers is crazy starts. Out with millions then thousands then hundreds can this be fixed.what do I need to do is this your program or my phone Galaxy 5

It doesn't always read out. I have checked my settings and they are correct and because I cannot see good it makes you very irritating when it will not read out a text from my caller and that's on my list

I have is the way it reads an incoming phone #. The "billion, million, thousand thing has not been addressed. Despite complaints from other users as far back as April of 2013. Please fix this problem. 1 star review until the issue is corrected. Update: Now the speaking of the number is delayed - like ALOT - if I happen to not answer the call, the announcement is delayed till the caller on the other end hangs up.

Love the fact I don't have to be looking at my phone to see who is calling/texting but it would be nice if it also worked with mms messages.

It will get ya in trouble if ya don't want people to hear your text messages though lol

I wear a Bluetooth for privacy, yet your program reads SMS on the phone as well as bluetooth, announcing my private messages to everyone within earshot. So I now use this program for call announcing ONLY and another program to read SMS messages. I wish I would have known this before I bought it. It gets 3 stars only because of advanced settings, even though I can't use them all.

I have the app say my name and I have a call from? ?? Also with texts as well as let her read the message body. I have been using it since my 1st smart Phone, and always will. A lot of people hear my pocket reading me a text and they just HAVE to have it NOW . I have installed and modified approx. 200 persons app to say their name and read texts to them as well. I give it 8 stars, THANK FOR THE APP THAT MAKES ME ATTRACT CURIOUS N NICE PEOPLE THAT I HAVE ALSO MADE FRIENDS W/MANY OF THEM €:•)

Great app. When I'm doing a tattoo i don't have to stop to see who is texting or what they want.

I've used this, especially while driving for a couple of years and I wouldn't be without it. Now on the Galaxy Note 4 and still loving it.

Usefully, but there is no option to change words "this is body message" between smser name and sms content in another language.
