Snap remote for Android
This is perfectly functional on my Xperia Z1 Compact running lollipop. My only, and serious complaint is that takes photos at the camera's absolute minimum 8 MP setting.
I don't understand all the bad reviews. I got what I asked for and it takes photographs easy enough. It's really simple and easy to use and I think it's great!
Why is everyone saying it doesn't have Bluetooth? It means you don't have to pair and you can use multiple devices...An awesome buy!
Could do with a save feature, so I don't have to keep setting the flash onto auto each time and a delete pic option also. Plz fix that and it will get 5stars...
Very simple to connect and trustworthy. However the app has tpo limited use because user can't even select image ratio or exposure compensation.
I just wish you could record videos also just by clicking the remote.
I thought that the camrea would be taking the photos but it just my tablet taking it instructed by my remote
Press the buttons and nothing happens
Not bad, you can't zoom, view or edit the cameras resolution. On the other hand my cousin loved to play with the remote.
The description on back of selfie remote box mentions Bluetooth but it does not use Bluetooth. The app was taking photos even with Bluetooth on my phone disabled! Opening the remote up reveals an 8 pin IC (most likely a microcontoller) connected to a piezo speaker. No evidence of a Bluetooth antenna. The app requests for microphone access. It is simply listening for a high pitched beep from the remote. No pairing. And other high pitched sounds from the environment could set the app off. No chance your other photo taking apps will ever support this remote.
I bought this power bank which have selfie function builtin. Did not knew that that it was not a Bluetooth remote. It uses apps like these. I don't wanna use these app but use my builtin camera app with a simple Bluetooth remote.
You cannot password protect it so anyone with the same remote can take photos on your phone. It would be far better to use a Bluetooth pairing method, which would both secure the connection and allow the the phone's built-in camera to be used.
I bought the snapper to use as a Bluetooth device, its not that at All, its a simple high pitch buzzer and only this app uses the microphone in your phone/tablet. They even had the cheek to print Bluetooth logo on the box. After a few seconds I opened the case to inspect the circuit board to confirm it has no Bluetooth at all, just a simple 8 pin micro like a ATmega in circuit design a led and buzzer and 2 buttons. Cheap and very tatty.
Haven't even used it yet and finding out you need to use this app and you can't use snapchat? I wish I could get my money back. Very unimpressed
Doesn't even work, and yet I bought a new battery like the instructions said would fix the problem. Not worth it, even for the three bucks
Could do with a save feature, so I don't have to keep setting the flash onto auto each time and a delete pic option also. Plz fix that and it will get 5stars...
Only paid £1 for the snap remote and extra easy to set up and use 2 clicks and I was snapping away so got to give it 5 *****
It didn't work at first I took the battery out of the remote and put it back in still nothing. So I switched the battery in backwards and it didn't work however when I put it back in the right way it works fine!

This app is very easy to use but there is no function for setting the camera, e.g. picture quality, ISO.
Very simple to connect and trustworthy. However the app has tpo limited use because user can't even select image ratio or exposure compensation.
Just wanted my money on this honestly, I was hoping to use any camera I wanted in any app but I'd rather just use my Selfie stick button
Great app that works well. But if had video would be even better, and get 5 stars
Doesn't work on my phone. I have an Android phone 5.1version. And it still doesn't work
The remote doesn't connect to my phone and it doesn't take pictures
There should definitely be a video option and if the app was compatible with snap chat that would be great
Installed on my s4 quickly able to take photos instantly with no problems
The remote never worked. Waste of money
It's good however it doesn't seem to fit my hudl tablet
I thought that the camrea would be taking the photos but it just my tablet taking it instructed by my remote
It's nice to have the remote but It would be A LOT better if could be used with snapchat where a majority of the pictures and videos are taken. Also really wish I could use the default camera app that came with my phone. Please fix these problems and I will be able to fully recommend this product to all my friends and family.
It's too simple. I can't set to turn off the camera sound and adjust the picture's quality nor other option because the setting menu is not available.
Works as described with my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and Snap Remote device. The interface is unencumbered with a multitude of options and allows the user to just point and shoot.
My battery started to be warm after I installed this app. If I turn off my mobile and restart it again the heat disappears but as soon as I open this app and even after I shot it, the battery becomes warm. Can this problem be fixed?
Would like it more if the pics were better quality and had more share button options
Like the remote but would be great if it can take as many photos and store it in the gallery so that it can be edited in other apps before sharing it. It only store one photo, the recent one. Hope it can be improved
Image quality low, cannot off shutter sound.
It doesn't take any pictures!!! Get camera 360! So much better!!!
Works pretty well. Biggest issue is the quality of the picture. Its very poor, and would be best if we could take pictures on the galaxy S5's installed camera.

As much use as chocolate fireguard. Can't zoom. Cannot use on built in camera app. Was hoping to use the remote shutter to be able to use my 360 camera and phone's camera. What's the point if it can't zoom. Pointlessly installed. Good job the remote was only £1
