About Herald.ly: Lock Screen News
Like many of you, we like keeping up with the latest news, but don't have time in our busy days.
So, we developed a really simple app called Herald.ly to bring the latest news directly to a place that we look at dozens of times per day - the lock screen.
On your lock screen, you can swipe the headline to the right to see more news. Swipe to the left to see the articles that have already appeared on your lockscreen. Drag the button left to read the article, right to unlock your phone, or drag the button up to share.
For now, the source of the article feed is Reddit’s News and World News subreddit threads. We’ll continue working to make the experience even better and bring the most important, latest news - directly to your lock screen.
Reach out and tell us what you think.

This is a great app but am no longer using it on my tablet because it doesn't have support for using my device on its side or, ironically, in portrait but upsidedown. My tablet's case has a small handle on it that forces me to put it in its stand upsidedown. Android and most apps are OK with this but Herald.ly and Instagram don't.
